I went for a walk around the village today, with a group of people I had not been to a few of the places before really, so it was a nice change, also I found the the stone block I had been looking for a while I thought it   was somewhere different to where it was.  I think I have only seen it once before and can only really remember it in photo, where my brother and his friend were pictured on the top of it.   This stone block is in the middle of the river and its where some old boy used to preach to people about the evils of drink.

It has been quite a dank day today not really getting light at all.  Also today I decided not to answer the phone when it rang as I am bloody sick of those junk calls, or whatever they call them, but this time the call was from a genuine number, I don't recognise the number but I guess if its important they will ring back I did try to return the call but the were on the phone.

Its been the usual long boring Sunday I guess, next weeks will probably feel even longer as its xmas day.  This xmas thing is here again, hopefully my cold will have gone by then, this time the cold seemed to have affected my voice. I heard again last night that they might be pulling the local church down, its not old enough to be protected I guess, it will be funny not to have it there, but I guess things do change, as society changes, people's attitudes change. I also read today that the local golf club might be closing down, it did once close and opened again, this is what might happen again maybe, so many changes lately around here.

This bastard email shit has just shafted me, it tends to record the addresses and I fucking sent an email to the wrong fucking address, thank fuck I did not write anything too bad only about my cold, but its fucking pain

I decided to go swimming today, I have put on a bit of weight around my middle so I want to get rid of that if I can, I guess I shall watch what I eat too. Someone told me that they are pulling down the local church here but I don't think they will do this as they don't pull down old buildings these days.  This afternoon I got a book on CBT, as i have an interest in the subject

I went out to Tesco today, and they had this obnoxious xmas music blaring out in the shop, it was awful and heck of of an irritation, I saw no need to have it so loud, especially in a place like that which is like a shed anyway and so everything echoes in it.  Before I went to Tesco I went to the leisure center, and they had this xmas crap on the desk which again I saw as an irritation, they could have stuck it on the wall somewhere out of the way. I guess some might think I was being a bit negative in relation to the xmas crap or making something out of nothing, as I guess I should be used to it by now as it comes round every year at the same time, it just seems to have ambushed me this year for some reason, and then again maybe I am bit more reseerved that usual

I have changed the font to see if it looks better in relation to writing this blog, I have been listening to a programme on fonts on radio 4, which is a radio station I have become back interested in recently, I think I lost interest in it for a long time and listened more to radio 5.

It is a pretty cold day today.  I have a load of crap to get rid of and the council want to charge me for the privelage, I am not sure I want to pay the amount but I can't see I have a choice, they want 15 pounds.   I have had to put on my heating today, which I resent as the damn thing is so expensive.  Also there isis a progamem is on tonight, about the pub which has been opened by the community here

Today I went and did some work for a few hours, well I don't do much work there really, anyway, there is a man who I work with there, who as a rule will not wear a hat and hasen't for the last 6 since I have worked with him but today he did, the other support worker was a also a bit surprised that the hat stayed on, and planning to buy this man a new hat for xmas.

My elbow hurts today, probably due to the swim I had yesterday, it has not been right since I fell over a few months ago and guess the swim must have aggrevated it.  I must be getting old, I am blogging about health problems. It is a lot colder today and very windy but I guess it is the last day of November, I have been a bit concerned about this training this that is coming up I have not been before, but it seems like it won't be as bad as I thought not sure why I have to do some training after I have done the job for over 5 years, oh well I guess it will be change. Apparently its a national strike today, but it has not affected me so far, good luck to them, I don't hold out much faith in them getting anywhere but at least they had a day off.

I got a letter from the housing company today, asking if I wanted to move as they are claiming I am under occupying this place, which is technically true I guess as it has '2' bedrooms, but these bedrooms are pretty small and in reality they should be made into one. I am down for a transfer but they want me to add other places to the list. I guess they want me to go and move into a flat or something a one bedroomed one.  It might actually be a good idea to move from this damned horrible place really, there does not seem to be much here for me, I have no reason to stay and I mgiht have a new start.  I might even be able to find a job fif I move away from here, I did not really want to end up back here in the first place, it was only because I had nowhere else to go I ended up here and it has been a nightmare really since the day I came back here, I have not had much fun here its been crap and maybe its now time to move on, especially since this latest mess which has been created

Today Gary Speed the Welsh team manager, was found dead, he had taken his own life according to the news report, very sad, I saw him yesterday on the tv programme Football focus, nothing looked out of place, but you never know I guess.  He seemed to have things going in the right direction as regards the football team, they were winning, though I guess they were only games that were not that important, its a shame they were not competative ones then he might have had something to get his teeth into. It might sound selfish but I hope this Welsh team work hard and qualify for the next world cup just as a tribute to Gary Speed a really great Welsh footballer.

I went to Pwllheli today and on the way home I decided to check the time of the bus and the time said the next bus was an hour later than I thought it would be, then I noticed the display of the time, it had not been turned back an hour at the end of October for some reason. On the way home on the bus the phone went and there was no one there I was bit puzzled as here was no log of the call, I then realised it must have been me setting of the fake call setting by mistake, oh well.

Bloody hell, I am trying to learn to play a Bob Dylan song on the guitar and finding it hard to get the right amount of bars in, I need to listen to the song a few more time I guess, which I don't find easy as I am not a fan of Bob Dylan, so why learn the song you ask, well I guess I am trying to learn it as I can play in a jam that might be happening and I guess it might be good to play something which I don't much care for. I also recorded a tune which I have written today on my phone and it seems to have come out ok its quite a nice tune to jig about to/ , There is a lot of rubbish on before the music comes out, I am thinking of doing a video or just recording this piece of music which I have called walk in the park for some reason.

I went for a bit of walk this morning, got lost a couple of times and also ended up in the mud, the mud created by the workmen who have wrecked the land round here in the past few months.  It was a lovely day for a walk, this weather is quite strange for this time of year, its usually raining and cold, but not this year, its very mild.     This evening I fell asleep in front of the tv so will find it difficult to sleep tonight.  I have just been for a stroll round the village, I came across a skank, also the fair is here tomorrow and there did not seem much of a sign of anything there really not sure if its because its not on its usual date or not as the fair is suppose to be today but due to today being a Sunday its on tomorrow, maybe the confusion has kept a lot of the usual fair people away, which is a shame as its going to be a lovely day again tomorrow weather wise.

A very nice day weatber wise for this time of year, more like summer today than autumn.  I went for a haircut today, have to go out of the area a bit as I can's seem to locate a reasonably priced on locally.   I am still breaking in my new walking boots which actually got a bit of a soaking the other day, I fell into this marshy thing, they are still quite damp on the outside

I got some new walking boots today, I had bought them before but the size was too big so sent them back which cost me postage and it cost me postage to get the smaller pair, so the price is a bit more than it was initially, anyway these seem fine, just need to break them in a bit now, before using them for a hike, not sure when that will be.  I got fed up with the other boots they were always leaking water, I will probably keep them for the time being and not throw them out.

It is another mild day for this time of year. I have decided to redecorate the living room in this place, I am going to get rid of the paper on the wall and paint them instead, the paper is starting to come off anyway, and if I paint the walls, its easier to maintain, just paint any blemishes that are there.  It is very quiet around here today, well is quiet here most of the time I guess. I think I will make a stew for tea.

I seem to be surprising people these days, yesterday someone commented that they thought I would be a times reader as opposed to the Sun, and today someone thought that I would not be into dance music, I guess its good to keep people on their toes.  I think my cut leg is getting better. Today also I took delivery of a put it together yourself bookcase, I did an ok job of it I think I was dreading it at the start but i got there not probably a very professional job.  This bookcase has made it possible to move the books from the living room to the hall and I can now put the stereo where the books where which is handy as its off the floor now and the cd won't jump everytime I walk passed now. I seem to be getting kind of organised for some reason.

I have a horrible hangover today, after drinking those horrible drinks last night, jaeger bombs or something they are called, they are so sweet, and sickly its unreal, I can't understand why anyone would buy them, I only drank it because someone bought it for me.  My leg is still a bit sore from yesterday too, it was quite a deep gash I got really, I am sure it will heal in time.

I ended up walking up Moelwyn mawr today with my sister's long term partner, it was quite a steep walk up but worth it just for the view really. I banged my leg on the way down as the walk down was quite steap too and I guess I was a bit tired and I had not had much sleep last night, probably due to the excitement of playing in the pub last night This bang I had on the way down is quite sore at the moment but I am sure it will heal ok.

I have got a hangover today due to late night and early morning to watch the rugby game, Wales won and England lost so it was good day rugby wise.  I was so tired I went back to bed this afternoon for a while but I did not sleep. The weather has been pretty bad today, though it did get better in the evening.

I went for a walk round a place called Arthog today, I don't think I had ever been to this place before, maybe when I was very young. I had heard about the walk and was undecided about it until the last minute, I thought there was not much else going on so off I went, it involved a bit of spriniting to get there to the start of the walk, along Barmouth bridge and I was not totally sure where I was supoose to go, but it was ok I got there in time and then did the walk, it involved a bit of climbing but it was ok. I think I need a new pair of walking trainers as there is a big hole in the sides of both of mine and  I have thrown them away, more expense I guess, but I guess I need them.  I have heard that there is a shop selling them relatively cheap in Bangor so I will go there at the beginning of the week, not that I need a much excuse to get on the bus.  This walking is fine but I need a bit more of change in my life something to give me a reason to get up for and I don't

Woke up feeling a bit rough this morning after another night on the beer, which was not a very good one as I think I might have upset a couple of people.  It is not so nice todya weather wise. I went to see my sister today for a change and have just been out for a walk, no one around really this place is pretty quiet even but I guess it is a Sunday thought its quiet here anyway really not the bustling little village it used to be when I was growing up here.

I went for a walk today with the ramblers the walk was down as from Blaenau to Dduallt, so I wondered how they were getting back from Dduallt, the thing was I forgot to read the rest of the description which stated it was a return journey.  We first went down to what I reckon is cwmbowydd and then on to the new road as I call it which we crossed and then went over the afon Goedol as I think its a called and headed for Rhyd Sarn then up to Dduallt and then up again to Tanygrisiau and on to Bleanau.  I was probably not the best day for walking as it was hot, but I did enjoy it. I had my waterproof socks on and they seemed to have kept my feet dry, I gave them a good workout as I kept going through puddles of water to try to wash the mud off my shoes which I was collecting on the way.  I am not sure when the next walk is, but soon I hope as I quite enjoy trapsing through the countryside, it was good coming at Blaenau from a different angle and getting a different perspective on the p

Bought James Morrison's new album today, downloaded it from Amazon, hope its as good as the first one he made, which I really like.  I went to enquire about doing a care qualificaton today, but I am not able to do it as I am not fully employed, I only work as a relief, and there are no colleges where I can go to do it either, which is a bit of a pain.  I will have to get a full time job something, that would make a change I guess.

I have had my extractor fan in bathroom fixed today at last.  Someone came round here a year or so ago about it and said there would be someone coming round to fix it but no one ever came, I finally got round to calling them again and this time it has been fixed or changed and apparently it works a bit differently to the other one, but who cares, at least it works. I seem to have developed a pot belly from somewhere, guess I will have to get rid of it, though these things are not easilty got rid once established but I will give it a go.  The weather is better today and going to get even better apparently but we can't apparently call it an indian summer, there needs to have been some autumn frost before the warm weather for it to be officially called an indian summer, well so it said on the radio this morning, which I was listening to while lying awake quite early this morning

I attempted to join a ramblers group for a walk this morning.  I got up ok and managed to get everything I needed, but I stayed on the bus too long, and was taken off route and nothng came along to take me to my destination in time.  On the way home I decided to go for a walk but got lost and turned back, I should have taken the map with me.  I have just looked on the map now and I seem not have gone far wrong but I did panic a bit. I have written a song today about how my father inspired me to learn to play the guitar, by telling I would never get the hang of it, as he had not.

I went to the doctor's this morning and ended up leaving the place, i would say, in worse state than when I went in.  The doctor wanted to take my blood pressure and put the cuff on but she put it on too tight and afterwards I could feel some nerve damage, which still hurts now, you don't expect to go and see the doctor and end being made worse than when you went in.  I am sure the damage will heal in time. I then went to Bangor on the bus and mouched around there for a while and then came home, on the bus I had a chat about the fact that they have built a bridge on the new bypass especially for bats to cross, and bats alone and no one else, it seems a waste of money to me really, well the amount spent seems a waste, it could have been cheaper I reckon. i

I decided to go for a walk today with a group I had not been with for a while, they went for a walk round Llyn Padarn in Llanberis.  I was quite weary at the end but I guess it got me out of the house, I got a chance also to catch up with a few people. I was a bit dissappointed with the bus journey home I am sure the bus I wanted went early so had to go on the one which goes all round the bloody houses. Tonight I have been to a meeting of the management committie of the local pub.  They want to start paying poeple but there is a problem regarding finances, so it will have to be looked into.  They reckoned on paying the guy who does some work there now but I don't think that's a good idea as you could probably get a better person to do the work for the amount of money, but then again I guess it depends on the amount of money.

Today is a really horrible day weather, more rain again, it seems to be never ending lately, just rain and more rain. I got a phone call today asking Iif I was going on a walk with some people who I used to go with in the past and I have decided to go if the weather is ok,  Its not much of walk but it will be a change of scenery I guess. I have tried to get on some walkes recently but not succeeded, due to weather and things like that

It has not been a good day weather wise today, and also I got a reminder to buy tv licence, I am not sure why we bother buying these things, why there needs to be a tv licence, the only thing in its favour is I guess the BBC saves you from the adverts, which are everywhere these days on, the tv out around the town and on the intenet and they come through the post, everyone is after your money. I went to Porthmadog this afternoon, it was the celebration of the cob being 200 years old, I am not sure why there was a need to celebrate such a thing but maybe you have to live in Porthmadog to appreciate it.

This year is flying by again, and nearly my birthday again. I watched the rugby this morning Wales a bit unlucky or maybe that was, a bit naive, as they gave the other lot a start right at the beginning of the game, a shame but that's the lot of a Wales supporter.

Looks like summer is on its way out and the horrible autumn is here, I guess we did not really have a summer, well nothing to write home about anyway.  I fell asleep this tea time in the chair, which means I will not sleep so well tonight again. I rang up about getting on the home buy scheme today, where the local housing association gives you a grant to buy a percentage of a house, I think its about 30 percent.  I think I have a good chance of getting on the scheme as I have a housing association place which they would like to free up for someone else to rent and who can be taken off the housing waiting list. i also rang up for a job application for, you never know I might just a job one of these days.

I decided not to go work today and went for a walk instead to out some waterpoof socks which I bought.  They were called into use quite early on, on the walk as I put my foot in somewhere wet.  My foot stayed dry thought I could feel the cold water in my walking shoe.  I only walked a few miles but when I got home my feet were dry but the shoes were wet inside, so I guess they did their job, I am just a wondering how long they actually stay dry for, there does not seem to a guarantee, i guess it depends how you treat them, ie not wash them too much or use them too much. I think the socks are a better option than investing in expensive boots, not sure why more people don't do it, I got the idea from a lad who I went walking with last weekend, who walks in trainers and waterproof socks

I rang for some inforamtion regarding a college course a few days ago, they said it would arrive the next day, after I rang. I am not that bothered really I guess I just want to be able to record my own songs, the course is music techonology, I don't want all the other gumph.  I met a friend today who I had not seen for years, and I can't actually remember how long it is since I saw her, it can't be 20 years, like she seemed to be suggesting, but maybe it is. I told her she had not changed, she answered dryly, she hoped she had, I guess I was nervous as I used to like her a bit, but was never able to get a date with her, which was a bit depressing at the time.

I went for a walk today with a few people ended up in the mud again and now I am knackered I will probably go againt tomorrow as its probably good for me to get out there and stomp the hills for a few hours. I am a bit fed up I got my boots wet though, I have an alternative pair but they are not as good as the ones I got wet today, i will take them and see what happens, if I get wet again then so be it, I guess its only a bit of rain.

So they have decided to close the toilet here in the village, which in my estimation is a really stupid thing to do, this morning a lady stopped and asked me where it was I told her it was closed, she had to go the next town to get one, also people urinate in the in bus shelter and also apparently in the street as they find that the toilet is gone, this is a step back into the dark ages when there was no sanitation to be had, people will always want to go the loo.

I got up early this morning, as I had gone to bed a bit early last night. I went to get a haircut this afternoon and baught a new pair of trainers.  Just noticed my cousine is badgering me to get married.

I have a slight hangover this morning, drank more than I had planned, so now I have no money to buy some milk, so I will have to make what I have last until tomorrow.  I have found a streaming site to watch Stoke v Chelsea, its not very clear and it keeps going off and new streams keep coming along, the latest one has a French commentry, but I guess I have the pictures, which are not clearly but they are free, which is the main thing.

So its been about a month now since I finished my computer course which reminded me how much I like learning, so I guess I need to find something else to learn so I can carry on the momentum, its not that easy though as I am a bit too far away from colleges here or any kind of educational estabilshment.  I guess if I can't get a job learning would be the way to go, just keep my mind occupied I guess I am not having any success in any other ffield.

Apparently this insult is still used today, to put down people who wear glasses, I was being called it 40 years ago, I would have thought that it would died a death by now really as it the whole thing does not make any sense at all, four eyes??? I wish I had one eye that worked properly never mind 4.

I had planned to go for a walk with a group of people today, but I woke up not feeling very well, so I did not bother. I managed to feel a bit better by the middle of the morning so I went for a swim, the only problem was that the pool was really full so I did not hang around too long.

I managed to cut the grass tonight, I am fed up of getting my feet wet walking in the long grass in the garden.  The grass was not completely dry, I think its better to cut it if its dry, but it had to do as you have to grab your chance these days between the shitty rainy days. I spent the afternoon in Caernarfon, not sure I went there I don't even like the place. I tried to take the posters for the disco on saturday back to the pub, but it was closed, I could not find anywhere to put them up as someone had been before me, I guess they can use them again just put a label on them with the date of the next disco, if there is one, I just hope this one is success, and a success to me means no trouble I guess and a place full of happy people.

I am writing this post from a computer room which has been teaching computers here for  few years and is now apparently closing down.  which is a shame as it takes away the opportunity for people to get some sort of qulification.  It is very muggy weatherwise today.  I am contemplating going to the eisteddford at some point this week but I can't decide which day would be best to go on and how I am going to get there.  I thought I could get there by train but its going to take way too long

I have had a bit of a hangover today, I think its because I drank something else in the pub last night, there wasn't th usual stuff there, which is a shame as its cheaper than the stuff I was drinking last night and tastes nicer too.   I went to see the Gwyl y Glaw thing this morning saw some people doing some folk dancing but I did not hang around for a long I went o Porthmadog for a ride. I have to work tomorrow, I guess it gives me a bit more money but Sundays are a bit boring there, and I have to catch the horrible early bus/

I got a bit confused in the doctor's surgery this morning, I was waiting to be called by the doctor, when a nurse came out and shouted my name, I was wondering why the nurse wanted me, but in fact she wanted someone else who had the same name as me, and actually had the same intials too.  I was called in to see the doctor a few minutes later, he took my blood, is checking my cholesterol, hope I don't have to take that statins crap, just a change of diet maybe neccesary, the other problem, well, we shall just have to see how it goes

Last night I did a sleep in at the place where I work, I feel like shit today, really washed out as I am not able to get much sleep there. I get paid 25 quid for these sleep ins, which to be honest I don't do very often, for the simple fact I don't like them, and don't feel they are worth 25 quid, they are worth more, as they ruin the day after. I did have some medication which helped me sleep but that has ran out and I am not able to get any more. I guess I don't do that many so I should not complain and it was helping out the other people. One of them did not appreciate the fact that I had come in as he left his shift at 2 pm yesterday and should have been there until 10 last night. If he is not careful he will not have a job there, its pretty cushy there really except for the horrible sleep ins, and perhaps the person who is charge of the project not being very fair with the rota, anyway the company is pretty crap really, though I guess it has given me some money ove

Today I went to Barmouth for few hours, it has been a lovely day weather wise and I took a coat with me which was a bit silly as it has been scorching all day long. I went for a walk on the beach and got a load of sand in my shoes which became a bit uncomfortable after a while so I had to empty them. The sea in Barmouth seemed a very long way away, it took ages to walk to it, over bumpy sand which is not easy to walk on. Today Barmouth was pretty busy with the tourists, but it can also be totally dead especially in winter. I used to like to go to Barmouth to the nightclub there it was called Sandancer, I think it has changed its name now.

I had my coat back today, which I had given to the seamstress to fix, its not a great job but then again it was torn pretty bad, while I was trying to get through some barbed wire, rusty barbed wire but still still barbed wire. I decided to go to Bangor on the bus today, it was a nice day, I was lucky enough to have some company to go there it can be a bit boring on the bus sometimes just sitting  I there.  Also I bumped into some people I know for a change most of the time I am there and see never see anyone.

The weather is not too bad today, its dry again and that horrible rain has stayed away.  The computer place seems to be closing, which is a shame as it takes away the chance of other people doing a computer course, the local counsellor is looking into it and hopefully she might get something done.

There is now only one pub in village, the last but one, the Abbey Arms has been taken down, the photo is of its last day. I got rid of some speakers today which are designed for a computer, I got rid of them through some recycling scheme, and they were taken by someone who lives in the vilalge here, it has just dawned on me that I should have checked them first maybe, but from what  I remember they work ok

I decided to go swimming for a change today, I say for a change as I have not been going for a while, I did used to go regularly. I then went to the local Eurospar for a bacon sandwich and they were on offer which was nice, half price.  I have baught these sandwiches before and thought that it was a shame there was no sauce with them, and I did actually say this to the lady on the till, who's name is Shirley, I know this as I went to school with her, and she told there that there was sauce available and that it was free, which I was glad to hear, and this sauce did improve my enjoyment of the bap.  I had not seen the sauces before, and no one had thought to tell me that they were there or maybe they assumed I had picked one up and put one my pocket, anyway I will know next time

It started off as horrible day but improved during the morning, I have not done much today, just hung out here at home and went for a little walk, Sundays are pretty crap days really.

I had a bit of a rant this morning to the local counsellor about a nasty incident that took place a while ago, I guess I should let the whole thing pass now really as its getting a bit tedious, and it was a while a go.  The weather has changed today, its not as nice as it has been, but hopefully the good weather will be back soon.  I am still trying to work out how to get a my jacket fixed the one with tairs in it, maybe I should just throw it away, but the  thing is quite handy. One thing or a couple of things I would like to throw away are a chair, and an old mattress which I have, the council want 15 quid to take them away but I really don't want to pay that, they will take up to 5 items away for 15 quid, and I will wait until I have got 5 items or find someone to help me get rid of them

Its a fine day weatherwise, but I guess its the same old situation, nothing seems to be improving regarding my health, oh well I guess I had better keep going. The computer course has now finished, so I will have to find something else to do now, its not easy as there is not a lot around here

I was asked to work today, to cover a shift due to someone being ill, I had nothing much else to do so I went, it was a pretty long day really but I guess it was better than sitting at home all day. I posting this via email just to see if it works, it did work a while ago, but I have not used it for a long a time. My neck is still pretty soar from the walk yesterday I should have put some sun block thing on it really but it completely slipped my mind, I probably did get a bit of sun stroke yesterday, but I am sure I will be ok in few days.

The other day I was wondering about a friend my father had, and whether he was alive or not, ha was a  bit older than my father and I assumed he would be dead by now really as my father has been dead about 13 years now and was in his 70's when he died.  Well the truth is this friend of my father is still alive and this I found out today, as he was on a tv programme this afternoon, he must be well into his 90s I think by now, good for him.

I have finally finished the computer course, so now most the time there is spent just messing about on the net. I am not too sure what I am going to do next, well actually I have idea really, there is not a lot of things to do here, maybe I will move away, which would also solve the problem with the skanks which are present here at the moment. Also the place where I did my coursw might be closing for good, which would be a bit sad as it makes it harder for other people round here to get the chance to do a computer course, its not just about the qualification, its about achieveing too I guess.  What you learn on the course might get me a job or anything like that but I guess at least I learnt something.

I have nearly finished the computer course I think, just need a few alterations to a piece of work, then its done, I guess I could find something else to do here, but I am not sure about that really, I guess its a good thing that I have got thsi far I suppose, beter than just sitting about doing nothing

I decided to go for a swim this afternoon, I had not been since I don't know when, it was probably months ago, last year sometime.  It took a while to get down to the leisure centre, its about 10 miles away, and we were held up by traffic, with the building of that new road.  When I got there I had I think about half an hour left for a swim according to the timetable, so I decided to go for it. I got a locker, I was given the locking thing for it. When I got to changing room and got changed I could not get the locker key thing to work, so I left it with my clothes and did not bother about locking the thing, I took my chance, I then went to the swimming pool, the door to the pool was closed, and it was actually locked, I tried it a couple of time and then gave up, I was pretty pissed at this time.  I walked the reception and the girl noticed and apologised apparently the pool staff had not been told to open up the place. It has been a long tiring day today, had an appointment this morning, then I went to the computer course for a while then a long quite tedious boring meeting regarding the pub, its all over I am glad to say. I made enquiries also today about moving away from here as the situation is getting a bit intolerable and is probably quite harmful to my health.  It seems I will have difficulty getting to where I want to get to.

It is Saturday again today, (at least I know what day it is) the weather is not going to be as bad as yesterday apparently but its a long way, like I said from being flamin June. I think I may go to Bangor on the bus today, just need a couple of things really. I went to Bangor but did not get what I wanted there, I could not find it in the shop anyway.

Apparently we have had hailstones round here today, and its the middle of June, the seasons seem to be all over the place, its nice and sunny now though.   I got a new rambers book today, with all the walks for the next 6 months in it, I would like to go on some of them if I can.   There is a walk tomorrow, but I can't decide whether to go or not,  I have to decide quite quickly so I can ask somone for a lift as the place where the walk starts is not accessible by bus.

the bus was late again as per usual this morning, its rediculos, it has only been on time once for me in the last 4 months, but I guess unless someone complains nothing will be done about the situation.  The bus company just seems to do what it wants really and to hell with the customers.   I don't have a lot to things to finish on this course again so I guess it will be over soon, not sure what I am going to do after this thing has finised.

I am still attending the computer course, I have finished most of it but I have some stuff to finish off, stuff which I should have done right at the beginning really, its pretty boring mundane stuff, but I am plodding my way through it, I have no idea whether what I have learnt will be of use to me, whether I will ever get the chance to use it besides just for myself here at home, it would be nice. I was able to help someone today who has been on the course with me, which was nice, a lot of the time I can be quite impatient in a situation involving this person, which is a not a good reflection on me really.   I have decided to try and get my old telly fixed, as it seems that the problem was not with the telly but with something else as the new telly I have seems to be playing up too.  It depends how much it costs really before I decide to fix it, I will then have 2 tv's maybe I can give one away or something or just keep it as a spare, I will see, it depends how much it costs to f

I decided to go and help out the people who are getting the pub ready for opening this morning, I nearly regreted it, as I threw something into the skip but did not see the person standing there, I nearly hit them, luckily I didn't though.     There was enough people at the pub this afternoon so I decided to go to Porthmadog for ride and to get some things.

Today is a horrible day weather wise, the rain and wind is back, basically winter is back.  I was listening to the radio this morning and they were on about changes to the benefit, I think the government would be better served trying to claw in the 12 billion of unpaid taxes that is owed to this country.   I seemed to have developed a painful elbow, not sure how, i guess I will need a trio to the doctor's surgery.

The work on getting the hotel in the village ready to be opened in month's time has started today, the place is being cleaned up and made ready for painting.  The village now own the hotel and it will be run by the residents of the village, not sure if it will work, I guess we shall just have to wait and see.   My old glasses have finally broke i have had them a very long but have now snapped in the middle, I am waiting to get some new ones but they are taking their time, I will try and get these fixed, they just need some soldering I think.

Another fine day weather wise, I decided to listen to the Wales football game today, wish I had not bothered as they lost agan 2 nil, from listening to it, they seemed to be playing really badly, I don't think they have appointed the right manager and to choose a kid who has not played much football lately to be captain was a stupid desicion I reckon

The bus up to the next town was late as per usual, its not a problem. I got the usual papers I get on a Thursday morining this morning, one for the local news and one for the jobs pages, though there is never anything in them worth applying for I guess.

On the way to Blaenau this morning, the bus broke down just outside Manod, i did not know how long it  would take a replacement bus to come so I walked.  The bus company who owns the bus is called Express Motors, but they are locally known as distressed motors, as they use to have, but have improved, a load of junk as buses, and used to break down all the time,  Even though the buses have improved, but the service is still piss poor, the name has stuck I guess.

Today apparently is the offical first day of spring, though the weather is not very spring like, its pretty misty out there and pretty damp, though I guess its not that cold.   I am in my 7th week of this computer course I think, its not that great but I guess its better than nothing, there is not a lot of things going on around here its a bad area for employment opporunities and bad for any opportunities I guess unless you like the outdoor life and then I guess its not too bad as its a nice place to go walking   I have been trying for a most of the morning to find out if there is a sunday service for a train service which goes from Barmouth to penrhyndeudraeth, the timetable says no, but that can sometimes, well a lot of the time, be wrong but it seems its right this time and there is no service, I have tried to contact network rail and the local traveline and they have come up with no service, I am sure there use be one in the past but I guess things have changed.

Whem I was in Tesco today, I happend to mention to a young man that the local pub would be opening soon, and I was taken aback by the sheer enthusisam this guy had for the place to be open I did not think it meant that much to people really but it obviously does.  I told him the place would be open sooner if he came and gave us a hand to get open.

I have written today to correct the feedback I left for the seller of the battery on ebay, it was only fair to do so I think.  I have managed to get through a level of this computer course I am on today, so now i can do something else for a change as I was getting a bit bored of doing the same old thing over and over again. This course is quite handy to keep my keyboard skills going, it will be about 30 now I think since I learnt to type, I can't imagine being like a vast number of people not able to type properly it would be so laborious and boring just using one or finger, I am so glad I was taught to type all those years ago.

 I received a phone call from some company claiming I had a debt with someone, I don't know how the company came up with this remark, they were probably trying it on.  Today also I left some negative feedback on an ebay transaction, as I had not received what I ordered, I have ordered it since the beginning of February, and the money has left my account, well I got home this afternoon and what I ordered has arrived, so I will have to try to change the feedback thing now.

On the computer course which I'm doing, I was asked to do a test, I declined as I was not in the mood, I am not interested in the qualification really just the learning I guess.  There are still access issues, the setting on the computers are not suited to me and I am having problems changing them, its quite funny the amount of disruption I can cause due to my needs being different to everyone else's.

Wales beat Ireland tonight, in rugby, by cheating, they used the wrong ball to take a quick lineout, they should have used the ball which went into the crowd, I hope they don't win the championship, which they have a chance to do now, as it would not be good for rugby if Wales win by cheating

I went to Llandudno today, on the bus, thought I would do a bit of shopping, I did not bank on spending as much as I did, one good thing, I don't have a car so whatever I buy I have to carry home, which restricts what I can buy I guess.   I have had my tv aerial moved as I tend to lose signal now and then, hopefully I won't now, I am having difficulty getting the right picture on the the tv. I bought wallet today to store cds as they are all over the place.

I have been messing about with the computer settings this morning it seems I can get the things a lot better the more I have a look at them.  I nearly missed the bus this morning as I was late leaving the house, I did catch the bus, which I thought I would as its usually late coming, and it wa late today, probably due to the road works that are going on a bit further down the road.   I have been looking on the internet for advice on how to do some home recording, it seems to involve a lot of expense though I am not sure, as I don't quite understand the process of doing it.

I got my new tv today, had a bit of bother setting the stand up, its still a bit wobbly, I guess thats the problem of buying things from the internet, you don't actually get someone to set it up, like you would if you bought it from a shop.  Now comes the setting the thing up to get the best picture, I am stilled pissed of with that rotten company Curries for ripping me off to the tune of nearly 300 quid, bastards.  They should have taken the faulty piece of rubbish back and swapped it for a new one, just leaves a bad tasete in my mouth regarding dealing with shops.   I was not amused to see that tory twat cameron on a popular tv show tonight, I doubt the stupid git has anything of interest to say

I am still fed up with that rotten company Curries, for ripping me off with a duff tv, the other one should be coming tomorrow, so it will involve another day off from this course.  The weather is very nice today, though it might be a bit cold.

I thought I would try and go for a walk today, I decided on going up to llyn Manod, go there from the main road to Blaenau, I tried to get there from a few directions but eventually managed it with the help of an old man I know who was doing some gardening for the daughter of his sister, who I know quite well, he gave me some directons on how to get to the lake and I managed to follow them, it was bit of a climb up there and a bit boggy, but I do enjoy the feel of the rugged ground underneath my feet.  When I got to the top, I had a look round and could see an expanse of water from the there, I thought it was the sea, I was miles away it was llyn trawsfynyndd I could see.  I then came down the same way and walk home andd had a nice lunch.  As usual I got my feet wet, but I guess its something I will have to get used to if I am to go walking, it does amaze a bit that I am able to get to these place via these paths, I feel more free when I go walking better than just sitting in this hous

Last night I finally lost patience with my faulty tv, this fault had been going on since I bought, I tried to get Curries to change it but they wouldn't, they reckoned they had done all  they had to.  The fault had not been present for a while and guess I thought it had gone but last night it happened again, I flicked the remote control at the thing and the screen spoiled, now there are lines on it. I should have taken Curries to court really but now its too late, I have broken the thing now. I have oredred a new tv but I have wasted, well Curries has ripped me off to the tune of 300 quid.

I have today, reponded to an advert regarding someone looking for old guitar, I replyied saying that I have one to give away, its an old fender spuire which is in a bad state, the pickups don't work too well. I have been thinking about what to do with this guitar for while now, and decided that this person might aswell have it as I won't bother fixing it and its only cluttering up the place, I can use the case that originally came with it to keep the other guitar I have, I reckoned I paid too much for this guitar in the first place, I got it from a friend, I have had some use out of it but not that much for many years now

I was pretty tired this morning after that long walk I had yesterday. I finally got registered to take the computer qualification today, and spent the day looking at it.   This evening there was a meeting in the village hall regarding volunteers needed to get the pub up; and running, I thought there would be more, maybe the advertising was not done early enough and maybe people have lost interest in the pub. I received a phone call today from a housing association regarding my request for transfer, due to the crap I have had for about a year now, they said I might get more points added to my application, which will help get out of this god foresaken shit quicker.

I went for a walk round the village today, I went with a group, I had done most of the walk but I got some fresh air and a bit of exercise and it was very nice day to go walking.  I found out that my boots do now hold water, which they haven't been doing for the last walks, they just seem to feel a bit lose though and I have blisters to prove it.

So we have an election on thursday to decide whether the assembly is  going to have more powers, I am not sure what to vote as I don't quite understand the whole thing/   Its been pretty cold and wet today, and the month is nearly over, time flies really, one minute its monday again.

I got the ramblers magazine through the post this morning, which I didn't expect really, i thought I was only going to get one with the joining pack, so it was a nice surprise, the total of the 4 which come out every year comes to about 15 quid, so really I am only paying 15 quid to join, which I reckon is very cheap for a lot of great days out.  I wish I could go tomorrow but I can't get to the place where the walk starts, no buses on a Sunday which is a bit of a pain, and I don't know the people well enough yet to ask them for a lift, there is a walk on Tuesday, which I can definately get to, no need for no crappy public transport service or no need to get a lift, as the walk is taking place around the village here with the group, who I am a member of, and who I haven't seen for a while, well not since the nice walk up to Moel y Gest in the middle of Januarey. It seems I might have another cold coming, another one, in the line of many which I have had recently, and it gets pretty boring to have one after the other, hopefully its just a blocked nose and it will go in a while. The weather is foul here today, horrible thick fog

I have had a sore throat for a couple of weeks, it seems that it has now turned into a cold.  I got a new battery for my phone yesterday, which seems to be holding charge not much better than the one I bought it to replace, I will see how it goes in the next few days, the one I bought, is not the same as the one I oredred from the amazon website, it does still fit into the phone though.  I got a tax letter today and it referred to some tax thing relating to Nottingham County Council, I am struggling to recall any tax transactions I had with Nottingham County Council, oh well, its only a tax code thing and I guess it doesn't really matter

A bit of a damp day today here. I have managed to get to the computer course and managed to post on this site from this computer for a change.

I did not go to computer course today, usual tutor off, so I took the day off and I won't be there on Wednesday either, as I have some work to do. I played a song I had written to a group of people today and they played along with it, it was nice especially the lady playing the piano, its probably the first time someone else has ever played along with me on one of my songs.

I got up this morning to go to a meeting regarding the openng of the pub, it was a bit boring, but it seems that things are on track.  I then went for a walk, been listening to a book for a change as opposed to reading one. Gong back to the meeting, I was put on the spot regarding what we thought we should be doing regarding the pub, I had to speak in front of people, I do this without any problem most weeks but today I was quite anxious, even though I have done it many times, at these meetings

I think I am getting the hang of this posterous thing now.  Its a nice spring day today, and the evenings are getting longer.  I bought some filler today, to fill the hole I made accidentally with the hammer the other day. I guess its another night in front of the tv, I will have to get a social life soon. tonight I sprayed my walking boots with some waterproof spray, I am fed up of getting my feet wet, lets hope it works, if not, I will have to get some new boots.

 Its a nice day today weather wise, I went and did some shopping this morning, my brother stopped to ask if I wanted a lift but I went by bus as it would have involved him moving things around to make room for me. I have been trying to learn a bit about computers from a disc the computer teacher gave me, there are a few problems with the discs, seem to have malware on them or the disc just stops working. I saw a guy from the rambling group at Tesco this morning too, told him I was gutted with the fact that I had to come home, I did not tell him the real reason I had to come home though, the fact that I had forgotten my money.

Its been a long day, and now the font thing on this messing about, I spent most of the day messing about on the computer , not sure what I'm suppose to be doing really.

I have spent all day today at the computer course, it was not too bad really.  I just had to sit there working through a cd rom, I guess some of the things which I learnt might end up coming in useful in the future, if I have not forgotten it, thats the problem with these courses, if you don't keep on using what you have learnt you will forget it/ The cold weather is back,again, I thought I could forget about my thick jumper but I guess it will have to come out again

Seems like whatever I write here goes into blogger too, which is handy as I won't have to write the same rubbish twice. After a lot of messing about this morning I think I finally got onto the ocmputer ocurse, not sure I really want to get on it, but I guess I am now, I shall how it goes. I messed up in a shop this afternoon, thought I had a tenner in my pocket but it was a fiver and I asked the girl in the shop for change of a tenner, I did apologise for getting wrong, will have to be more careful. I nearly wrote another song today, not done so for a while, the only problem is that its the same inspiration as I was using months ago, oh well.

I seem to have been feeling pretty tired most of the day, not sure if was yesterday's exerttions, though I don't feel I exerted myself that much. i fell asleep this afternoon which will make it difficult to get to sleep tonight, my sleep is not great right now, maybe its the new bed, maybe i am taking time to get use to it.

I have written this post once but the useless fucking program stopped working.  I went on a fucking walk today to Craig y Garn, with the local ramblers group and it was quite nice.I got a bit wet, my boots are leaking so I will have to buy a new pair I think.  I hate this fucking program, it never works like its suppose to fucking do.  I hope I get to go out for a walk again soon with this group, its difficult to get to these places though.

The computer course did not go too well again, turned up but no tutor in site, so left, I will have another go on Monday.  There was message from a dellivery company when I got home, it concerns a clock I chose as a gift from this company who supplied me a gadget a few weeks ago.  They were not able to leave it with a neighbour as it needed a signeture, but I thought it would be ok if the neighbour gave a signeture, as they said that it would be ok to deliver it to another address.  I don't like sitting in all day waiting for something, well especially when it was only a free gift like this was, I am not what to do really, I shall just have to be in I guess and hope to God they don't tall all day about it. I did some gardening today, I am trying to grow some leaks, they are quite small right now, and I need to move them to they have more space.

I am sitting in a computer course and am losing the will the live. I eventually left the classroom, I am not in the mood to go back.  I managed to get a bacon roll for 85p this afternoon, which I reckon is quite cheap for one, it wasn't that tasty that was the only draw back Tonight there is a meeting regarding the pub, and there shoiuld be a letter saying we have the money to buy the pub.

Not been a good day today, though ok weather wise, I attended a computer course, but the bloke running it was not impressed with fact I was not there yesterday, nice to be wanted I guess/  This bloke sent me away and told me to ocme back tomorrow, not sure if I am up for that really, as I am not that enamoured with having to sit in front of a computer screen for hours on end. As had nothing to do due to mishap with course I went to Caernarfon for ride on the bus, that was after breaking the old bed I had, up for the bin man to take next week.  I have just come back from a walk I did the other day, and got lost this time too. I decided to plant some potatoes today, I had bought some seed ones a few weeks ago, and read on the packet that you are suppose to plant them in February, well after a chat with a man on the bus who said they should be planted in March and not February, I decided to look again, he was right i was had read it wrong, so I had to dig up and put them away for another

Its blowing a gale again today, things are being blown about the garden, and my house sounds like a musical instrument due to the wind blowing through it. The wind has gone by now, but its still raining, its not cold though, I managed to get my washing done this afternoon and some shopping, just need the bin men to take all that rubbish tomorrow now, so I put some more in it for them, it just seems a good way of getting rid of my old bed.

I bought a printer the other day from amazon, I installed it today, its a wireless one which is handy as I can have it in any room in the house and don't have to have if specifically clogging up the place near the computer.  The only problem with printers I find is the expense of buying the ink, its very expensive just for a few drops of ink. It is a nasty day weather wise again, and i am wondering whether the walking group went on the planned trip up Cnicht, I doubt it as it is probaby too windy, but you never know with that lot, where they will end up going, maybe they did not go up Cnicht but went somewhere else, it is not so wet as yesterday. I was pretty dissappointed with Chelsea today, after they put in a really terrible performance against Liverpool FC.  So we as a communty group have been given money to buy the local pub, i think this is a one in a million chance, as the money was given by the Welsh Assembley Government, the idea is a new one, there are other groups trying

Today is a horrible wet day, the wind and rain is lashing down, its not cold though, which is a good thing, yesterday I managed to work out a walking route I had been trying find for a while, its a nice diversion from the normal route I take to the next town. I have recently joined the rambling associaltion but am finding it a bit difficult to get to participate in the ramblings, the places where the walks start are not on the public transport route, and I am not making friends fast enough to be able to aske someone for a lift, I guess I shall keep on trying, there is a walk taking place around here in a month, I shall try to see if I can make any connections there, this place is pretty rural, and that is why the public transport is so poor.  There is a walk tomorrow but the weather is foul today and not looking much better accoridng for tomorrow according to the forecast, which is a shame, as I would have liked to go on that walk, its a walk up the Cnicht, if the weather had been ok I
