I lost a school friend to cancer a few weeks agao its really hard to get my head round the fact he has gone, I have known him for 40 plus years, he was kind of always there, we were not close. He has now gone forever which is what happens to us all in the end. I have to go the doctor later the appointment is at 4.30 a shit time really as I rely on the poor public transport round here. I will have half an hour to kill before the appointment and then an hour maybe to kill after it. I did not feel like arguing with the receptionist to get another appointment as this is a rare occurrence a face to face one, but things have changed a lot since the lockdowns, public transport has got worse and the face to face consultations are not that accessible these days. I am not surprised that there are more cars around due to way things have changed public transport going down the pan and medical appointments not being so accessible so you need a car so you can be more flexible, though they...
