Saturday was supposed to be the day the local football club started using their new camera to stream games on Facebook. Since it was an away match, I assume they needed permission. At kickoff, after checking the game hadn’t been cancelled—a common issue this season—I saw it was still on, though some nearby matches had been called off. I waited for the stream, but nothing appeared; probably just teething problems. Hopefully, they’ll have it sorted by next week.   They still won five-nil, with four assists from a player who’d just returned. Despite not playing for weeks, they had the confidence to convincingly beat a decent team. They’re currently fourth in the league, quite far from the top, but with a strong push could grab the second promotion spot.  It has been cold this week I don't recall it this cold for a long time the pavements have been icy the council have not put salt on them apparetnly they don't these days but I would have thought they would with all the hospitals in trouble these days oh well I guess there is not a lot of joined up thinking going on these days which itself can lead to problems  The weather is going to get milder over the weekend which means the rain is on its way its never far away these days The photo is of Moelwyn mawr which I took on a walk last Sunday the snow looks great on the mountian but crap on the road especially when it freezes I bet the view from the top is really good but I am not going to attempt it I don't think I have been once it was the day after a bit of a booze up so I don'r recall it that well I would like to go again one day

I am beginning to wish I had not turned on the telly this mornng as it mentioned a condtion I have that can turn into cancer but I guess at least the story concentrated on the fact that it can be detected with some light or something but it means me having to go and have another one of those cameras down my throat at some point I guess. Well the snow has been interesting this week suppose but I guess the main thing I remember about it is the fact that I was able to help my cousin sort out here frozen boiler.  There was a post on facebook from a plumber telling people how to get their boiler back working again if it wasn't and the reason it might have been not working is the fact that the outside pipe had frozen over and that all you needed to do was to pour hot water over the pipe and the water would flow through again, well my cousin did this and she was grateful for the tip.  I guess facebook is good for something and it rekindled my faith in human nature that the plumber ...
