phone

It been a bad week regarding mobile phones first I broke the samsung one had a bit of paddy regarding something.  I rang up some shop in Pwllheli and told them the story they reckoned they could fix it the next day, I got to the shop it was the wrong size so had to wait for the next one to come in I was a bit frustrated about this as I had hoped to get the phone back but I suppose it was my own fault the phone broke so I should wait.  

 I did have an old phone which was ok and it worked fine for days until I had another paddy for some reason maybe its all the stress I am under right now.  Due to the fact I had broken the second one I was now completely without a phone and started to get anxious about the other one I wanted it back asap so rang the shop a few times no answer I was getting frustrated, finally got answer they reckoned it was fixed so off I went to get it.  On getting it back I got ready to go home on the bus, on the bus I pulled it out and it was cracked this really did my head in I rang the shop on getting home and they said they would fix it and I took it back in today not sure when it will get fixed.  In the maen time I lost patience again and bought another one as I could not be bothered to wait for the other one and this one has a hearing aid thing which will help probaby, I now have two phones again.  This might seem a bit like frittering money away I suppose it is will need to watch that.

Well I achieved something last night, which I thought was going to be beyond me, I guess to a lot of people what I achieved, was pretty trivial, but I guess we all see things different;ly, what I achieved was to get over 170 score in a whist drive.  Last night was the first time I had ever done it, had a few scores in the 160's but not in the 170's which I see as the holy grail of scores to get as you will probably win then, which in fact I didn't last night, someone scored more than me, by 1 point.  I was not that bothered about that, all I was concerned about was getting a score above 170, I have been going to whist for years off and on and was never, until last night able to get the magic score, I am surprised I got the score last night as I had a bad headache all evening, I guess it was the luck of the cards that got me through. I thought I would never get the score, as I don't see very well, and struggle to make out the cards sometimes which is a bit of a strain,

great war

I went to an exhibition today, which was about the first world war, it mainly seemed to be full of photos of men from my home village who had fallen in the great war, they were all young obviously not ravaged by time.  It was a bit sad to think that so many young men from the place where I grew up were killed, it had their names and the names of where they lived, the names of houses and streets are the same today Sometimes you feel the outside world does not affect what happens here, but I guess it must do as it dragged a load of the young men here into the conflict which was going on at that time, I am not sure I agree with them going to fight, but that is neither here nor there, the fact is they did and that was what was going on at that time. My grandfather was in the first world war, but he was lucky enough to survive, even though he did leave his calf muscle over there in wherever he was, it must have been hell for him really and I guess I will never know what he saw there, al

I did not go the 4th day of the walk, I could not face another 10 miles of plodding around the countryside, I think this is mainly due to the fact that I have not been walking quite so much in the last year, due to bad weather and things like that.  I did not think I would even finish 2 days but I did 3 in the end, more than anyone else except the person who organised the walk.   Instead of going on the walk i tidied up around the place, and just sat around, and also watched the football this afternoon, it was a crap day.  I did not even go for a short walk, its still perishing out there, I have a short walk on Wednesday, a kind of trail run for group who want to do this short walk, a recky or something they call it. I have at last heard when the new kitchen is being put in, apparently its on the !0th of April, I should have a received a 21 day notice but I didn't, which I guess is typical of the organisation who are doing the work.
