homeless



Anyway I went away at the weekend to a college reunion an decided to give airbnb a try.  When I got the house some bloke turned up.  He was very nice but forgot to tell me about how the things worked in the house I eventually managed to get the telly to work though.  I got the room wrong which was a pain. I thought the room would be bigger than it was I guess the camera angel they took the photo caught me out.  The room was also pokey and it got very hot there over the weekend it was really quite claustrophobic.  I got so fed up of it I came home earlier than I had planned.

 Next time I will use a proper b and breakfast it was really nice to see the other people from my college days but there was a lot of sitting about I guess.  This was also a reason why I came home earlier and wasted £30 quid I guess I could not be bothered to sit around a pokey little room all day the weather had improved though it has cooled down on Sunday and was quite cold by the time I got back here I am glad I went though so that I could see those people again. I am not sure what t do about carrying on excluding myself  from facebook though my friend had a point I guess I am cutting myself off but the thing gives out so much rubbish.

 I have a couple of appointment today they are a bit apart and are in the next time which means a bit of hanging around .  Well it seems that I have managed to get rid of the feedback thing at last I just right clicked on delete element twice.  It is really hard getting things done on the internet you have to contact someone far away in another country a lot the time.

 I was surprised at how many homeless people there were in the city centre of Hereford or high town as its called the handy work of our tory government I guess.  I don't recall so many there in the 1980s its very sad and I guess dangerous to live on the street I thought Hereford was a fairly prosperous place but I guess people struggling there too, you don't see so many homeless here I guess they sofa surf which in a way is being homeless.  Its ironic that I have opted to work for a charity to help homeless young people.  So many people have two houses yet so many have none in this county.

 Well I don't see much of those monekeys these days which is good they have finally got the message bloody morons.

 I have decided to join some company and do some voluntary work the problem is the paperwork is horrendous baring in mind I am going to work for nothing withe them.  The papar work was also very intrusive, I doubt I will be able to fullfill my role in the charity really as I don't drive and therefore cannot get the particiapants I am suppose to be working with.

 I received the shaver today from amazon seems like the old one I had really but I guess it will do for now.  Its very muggy today and my pain in the abdomin is back today I have no idea what it is and the medical profession are not too sure either I have  the diagnosis of IBS whatever that is.

Well I achieved something last night, which I thought was going to be beyond me, I guess to a lot of people what I achieved, was pretty trivial, but I guess we all see things different;ly, what I achieved was to get over 170 score in a whist drive.  Last night was the first time I had ever done it, had a few scores in the 160's but not in the 170's which I see as the holy grail of scores to get as you will probably win then, which in fact I didn't last night, someone scored more than me, by 1 point.  I was not that bothered about that, all I was concerned about was getting a score above 170, I have been going to whist for years off and on and was never, until last night able to get the magic score, I am surprised I got the score last night as I had a bad headache all evening, I guess it was the luck of the cards that got me through. great war

I went to an exhibition today, which was about the first world war, it mainly seemed to be full of photos of men from my home village who had fallen in the great war, they were all young obviously not ravaged by time.  It was a bit sad to think that so many young men from the place where I grew up were killed, it had their names and the names of where they lived, the names of houses and streets are the same today Sometimes you feel the outside world does not affect what happens here, but I guess it must do as it dragged a load of the young men here into the conflict which was going on at that time, I am not sure I agree with them going to fight, but that is neither here nor there, the fact is they did and that was what was going on at that time. My grandfather was in the first world war, but he was lucky enough to survive, even though he did leave his calf muscle over there in wherever he was, it must have been hell for him really and I guess I will never know what he saw there, al

I did not go the 4th day of the walk, I could not face another 10 miles of plodding around the countryside, I think this is mainly due to the fact that I have not been walking quite so much in the last year, due to bad weather and things like that.  I did not think I would even finish 2 days but I did 3 in the end, more than anyone else except the person who organised the walk.   Instead of going on the walk i tidied up around the place, and just sat around, and also watched the football this afternoon, it was a crap day.  I did not even go for a short walk, its still perishing out there, I have a short walk on Wednesday, a kind of trail run for group who want to do this short walk, a recky or something they call it. I have at last heard when the new kitchen is being put in, apparently its on the !0th of April, I should have a received a 21 day notice but I didn't, which I guess is typical of the organisation who are doing the work.
