Chelsea

I decided to take a look at the 'potatoes' I was growing there were none there I guess I will have to wait until next year now to have another go I have read some advice on growing the things but its not that easy to follow much like a lot of advice I guess it depends who is delivering it I suppose.

 The weather is marginally better today here its not raining which is good the rain is horrible once it starts it forgets to stop round here

 I have taken a off from the buses today not sure it that's good thing as its just a fucking boring day in the house I guess I suppose I could go for a walk.  LIfe is tough these days tougher than I would like them it to be, I have been looking to move to see if that might improve things but its not that easy to move I guess.

 I have been following Chelsea for a long time but this year is one of the most depressing ones Eden Hazard has moved and there is no transfers coming in and top it off the club has employed a rookie you would have thought the club being where it was would have done something positive not compound the situation by giving the manager's job to a bloody rookie.  I am seeing that this next season will be very long and a real struggle out of cups quickly and struggling to stay in the top half of the season and lampard will be associated with one of the worst seasons at Chelsea for the last 20 or so years.  I am sick of going on about it really I just need to let it go really, its just that watching the football over the winter months is a highlight I guess I shouldn't watch it really as it 'free'. I use to look forward to a season but not this year, the only light is that Ampadu gets regular games otherwise its going to be a really depressing shit season I reckon.

 Apparently we are getting nice weather today not here we aint, the tv station itv and bbc really talk a load of crap a lot of the time but I can't afford satellite tv so have to put up with the shit.

Well I achieved something last night, which I thought was going to be beyond me, I guess to a lot of people what I achieved, was pretty trivial, but I guess we all see things different;ly, what I achieved was to get over 170 score in a whist drive.  Last night was the first time I had ever done it, had a few scores in the 160's but not in the 170's which I see as the holy grail of scores to get as you will probably win then, which in fact I didn't last night, someone scored more than me, by 1 point.  I was not that bothered about that, all I was concerned about was getting a score above 170, I have been going to whist for years off and on and was never, until last night able to get the magic score, I am surprised I got the score last night as I had a bad headache all evening, I guess it was the luck of the cards that got me through. great war

I went to an exhibition today, which was about the first world war, it mainly seemed to be full of photos of men from my home village who had fallen in the great war, they were all young obviously not ravaged by time.  It was a bit sad to think that so many young men from the place where I grew up were killed, it had their names and the names of where they lived, the names of houses and streets are the same today Sometimes you feel the outside world does not affect what happens here, but I guess it must do as it dragged a load of the young men here into the conflict which was going on at that time, I am not sure I agree with them going to fight, but that is neither here nor there, the fact is they did and that was what was going on at that time. My grandfather was in the first world war, but he was lucky enough to survive, even though he did leave his calf muscle over there in wherever he was, it must have been hell for him really and I guess I will never know what he saw there, al

I did not go the 4th day of the walk, I could not face another 10 miles of plodding around the countryside, I think this is mainly due to the fact that I have not been walking quite so much in the last year, due to bad weather and things like that.  I did not think I would even finish 2 days but I did 3 in the end, more than anyone else except the person who organised the walk.   Instead of going on the walk i tidied up around the place, and just sat around, and also watched the football this afternoon, it was a crap day.  I did not even go for a short walk, its still perishing out there, I have a short walk on Wednesday, a kind of trail run for group who want to do this short walk, a recky or something they call it. I have at last heard when the new kitchen is being put in, apparently its on the !0th of April, I should have a received a 21 day notice but I didn't, which I guess is typical of the organisation who are doing the work.
