AI

I am writing this blog using the tablet stand I got today or was it yesterday, it took a while to sort out how to put it together but AI helped me saying let me know when you have pushed the ball socket in, it was hard going but it is what needed to be done, AI has helped a lot lately with recipes and with quetions I might have. I am not sure how we managed without it really, there is lot of scaremongering around the AI to be honest I am not too clued up about the worries regarding AI Apparently this AI can plan a trip for you, I guess there is lot of things it can do that I have learnt about yet, it will take time and I guess this is the worst it will be it can only get better whatever that means. It is amazing how it makes music, I know it uses ways that are not good but what it ends up with is great much better than I could ever manage it will never take away the joy of creating something though from nothing writing a song from scratch. I guess this is only the beginning of AI...

Adra the shit housing association

A few months ago, I was told solar panels were being installed on the property. The landlord didn’t ask, just informed me. I figured they were free, so why not, and assumed they wouldn’t need much access to the house. Turns out they want to put a huge, ugly inverter inside, which really stands out in a small house without a utility room.   Last week, scaffolding went up, and it’s been a nuisance. I think the housing association should have explained the process and benefits of the panels, but they didn’t. They got a grant, so we’re having them whether we like it or not. I could refuse, but since they’re free, they should at least have done a proper property assessment. Apparently, they don’t know much about the system, which is why they haven’t been around—so why apply for grants for something they clearly know little about?   They refused to let the board be installed, but why are they calling the shots when they know nothing about the panels? I wouldn’t trust them ...

shit barber

I thought I’d had the worst haircut experience ever when the person cutting my hair started washing her car at the same time. Needless to say, I never went back. But a few days ago, that experience was topped in terms of sheer awfulness.  I went around town looking for a barber—one place had its lights on but was locked, so I went to my usual Turkish barber, but decided against it since they tend to cut too much off. I remembered a friend mentioning a cheap barber around the corner, so I went there, took off my coat, and tried to explain what I wanted. We eventually got there, and off he went, but without an apron, so hair was falling all over me. Maybe he just expected me to take it home with me. He sprayed water on my hair, which dripped down my neck—it wasn’t even warm.  he ordeal finally ended, but his card machine didn’t work, so I had to find a cash machine, get the money, and took it back to the shop. I hoped he didn’t think he deserved a tip, because the only tip I’d g...
