ticket


 I decided this morning to go to the opticians. This opticians is 12 miles away and of course it's open at the weekend like most of the shops. How to get to the bus to another town first then change there but I decided to catch the train I got to the next town with only a few minutes to spare before it was time for the train to go from that town, so I thought I would chance it and try to get the train, hoping the train was late. 

 I got the bus to the tesco and then went to the station andd the train was late and i jumped on before the door clesed.  I needed the loo on th train but it was occupied and therefore I had to go back and doing this I missed the guard.  As I was coming ot into Pwillheli were the optitician is sitiuated the guard caught me and I paid for ticket. I there is an issue now if you don't get a ticket before you get on the train you will be fined, but I think that is depeendent on there being a machine in the station which there wasn't at the station where I got on. If the guard had been a couple of minutes later I would have had a ride for free.

When I got the opticians it was closed, I mean people want glasses on a Saturday too. So I had to waste the journey to the town, anyway I decided to go back by Bus then I change my mind and decided I would not go back straight to where I caught the train from but would go to another town, to Caernarfon, to see the Spanish galeaon that was there.

  It took a bif of finding but I did eventually, I did not go on oard, well I did but the guy in charge asked for my ticket, I did  not have one so did not bother.  I did not need a ticket for the journey back thankfully as I have a pass for the bus.

I shall have to go to the opticians another day next week maybe though I am not in any hurry at the moment I just want to purchase a pair of smart glasses and I think I can try them on there and see what they like. I am not forking out 300 quid before trying them though many on the Internet seem to just buy them and hope for the best

An update on the situation with the village fair. There was a post in the group regarding the fair this morning saying that there will be a meeting at the beginning of July the 8th of July at 7P M in the local pub. I did let them know that I've been trying to do something I am still waiting for the reply from the ombudsman, I will be gutted if they say they can't help me regarding getting the fair back up and running

Neighbours.

 Twol things you can't choose in life, your neighbours. and your relatives. I have not been. very lucky.really with neighbours. Well, I guess there have been some. that have been OK, but most of the time they.'ve been ****.  I have just seen. the son of a neighbour. who? got me a load of **** from. morons in. this village. H I have a piece of land. which has a which has an easement on it as part of the property. and the neighbour has access to his hut from it. The**** parked his motorbike on it one day and things got out of hand. It was a very. pressing situation. especially when he got other people involved. it was nothing to do with the son, obviously, but I guess there are. tensions there. It has been a drab day weather wise no sign of summer.  I decided to contact some old friends today using the whatsapp thing.  I had noticed that one of my friends had decided to use it, I have not seen her for about 4 years.  She replied quite promptly and I got the answer to a question I had had for a while that of where she was living now and its Dorset but she thinks she might move again.  I am beginning to think she is one of those people who once they start to move struggle to stop and find somewhere to settle down, they seem compelled to move all the time.
