I am a bit perplexed this morning, apparently there will be a council election here next month, I have found out this in the pub, this is why pubs are a good thing to have in a community, I have not seen anything about the election by the council who I am no fan of, the election is on the 10th of  April. I see I see that the candidates. have been put forward already Well, for have anyway. I don't know if anymore can be put forward. or it's closed. I guess I will have to ring the ring. the council. I have found that the closing date has gone

It's not that I want. to run myself. So I suppose my. shouldn't say anything. but I just would like a decent candidate to be a councillor for this ward. I know a couple of the people running I don't write them even though they plays for them for putting themselves forward. I think. a younger person would be better suited. I don't know who. I have nobody in mind. Maybe I should put my own name forward. But I have enough to deal with right now. If the people on the list. are the only ones trying. I guess I will not be. voting again.

I have been back here for 20 years and I have never had the Council election. No, nobody ever went against the useless one we had here. who caused me a lot of problems. I am glad that she has gone. but I don't want another useless one to be voted in.

I  quite like politics. I could put my name forward, but I. suppose I have no experience of being a counsellor. So that's what puts me off. and I have other. issues. I think a young person is better. suited somebody with more energy. and who actually lives here.

 Two  people trying don't actually live in the village, which is no good  the two who are living in the village are no good. in my opinion of course. I don't know why young people don't. get interested. in helping their communities. I guess it's. a lot to do with. There circumstances and pressure that they have. But if they want to change things I suppose being a politician's one way of doing it.but peopola need to be made aware that there is an election

I am really surprised but there has been no information. from the council regarding this election. I guess I can ask about that tomorrow. I probably will go through the warm space. in the afternoon and I can ask in the council office about what the situation. is.

If I was going to represent a party as a candidate, I'd probably would go with Gwlad who are an up and coming party who want independence for wheels. They are a bit more on the right compared to the other. one that's been around for long time. but they seem to be OK. crowd.

I said to one of. the people who has. put themselves forward last night, but you should get posters done. I guess it was a flipant remark. Really. Oh, he said that he'd have already had them done. And then I thought to myself, yes, that sounds about right. More about himself than the people of the village. He was the type of person that you really do not want. As a politician, he gives them a bad name. And there are so many politicians who are in it for themselves and another one But he's getting on the bits. 

I think there should be a  person running who. actually gives a **** But but how many young people are in a situation to give a **** about other people when they're struggling days by day? I guess. they need to be. come from supported environment. I suppose the council. hasn't done much as usual. to make. this election appealing to anybody. It seems that its people who have got nothing else to do who want  go. I suppose I could fall into that category..

I am about to have my Sunday dose of politics in a minute. I watch. I watched that politics Wales programme more Sundays. Well, when it's on, they seem to take. it off when it suits. It can be a bit random sometimes. It can be interesting. Sometimes not. It's the BBC so you can't expect much.

I am sure there are good counsellors out there who really want to help their communities. But I bet. there are very few and far between. I've never met one obviously the council itself doesn't give a **** So why should the council us Gwynedd Council is appalling.

There is one person. who is putting himself forward, who doesn't really stick at things or I guess we will maybe. have another election quite soon. to be honest, he's an absolute waste of space. And the other one is not up to much and it's quite sad really. two people from outside trying. I think it's appalling 

The council should be making much more of an effort to get people interested in the community. But I really don't know or understand where they're coming from. Really. Let's just if they don't give a flying **** about the place. Which is evidence and their attitude towards trying to get rid of the village fair. I suppose really are. a bunch of **** useless **** I'm **** annoying me.

I can type quite well. but this dictating things really good. It's a lot easier to talk to. the computer than me trying to bang it out on well and useless keyboard If I had a better keyboard, I probably would prefer to type, but these laptop keyboards are **** useless. This is going off the point now.

I think there should be more time. for the selection to take place. Give people time to think about whether they want to be a council. be a counsellor or not. I think the original one only resigned a couple of weeks ago. I think there should be more. time. It's not like proper job being a council can be a I guess a vocation I know they get paid now, but and you can be a career politician. But I think people need time to. think about whether they want to help the community to put things in place so they are able to not. just some time on their hands These people will just give politicians the bad name I'll just put people off turning. to politics to help them. 

This has happened in so many places and that's why the turnout is low for elections in Wales. Democracy is not working here. I may ask if it's possible to have a bit more time. so that people can get interested. in learning about what it is like to be a politician. I. guess it could be a job for me. someone who has time on his hands  If we don't help ourselves, nobody else will. The council obviously doesn't give a flying **** More like council tax we pay  to the ****

I know. we should have a diverse council. But there is a limit. Someone who doesn't know how to use soap and water. It's not a suitable candidate. Well, maybe. they are. It's hard to know. I suppose I. everyone deserves a chance. The other one. I just don't like. I can be two faced when I am. around them. The two from outside. No good. The community needs a counsellor. They can go and talk to. I suppose they can ring them up. But they obviously don't understand the community. It's difficult.

I have decided. well, I've done it. I have emailed the council asking for them to delay the elections And so more people can be made aware of it though the first person I did ask about regarding the election didn't know about it. So maybe it's just me. I guess I shall have to see you. I just think we need to get it right. All I can do is ask. they probably won't delay it, but I can ask as close. or maybe I should have done a bit more research regarding about who actually knew something about the election. may e it was only me who did not know or others could not care less

I was asked about. how we vote in a council election. I don't know because we haven't had one here for decades. I assume it's the village hall, but I don't know. Might be somewhere else. unless the council. let's us know we won't know. I'm sure they will let us know soon enough. Though there is not much time. The election is on. the 10th of April.

I have just noticed that. the notice of the election came out on the 5th of March and the nominations had to be in by the 13th of March. I don't think this is long enough to find a proper candidate today, esspecially after we haven't had an election year for decades. It would be nice to have. to have a counsellor. who could do something to bring the. bring the community together working for a better community. I don't believe that the people who are standing can't do that kind of thing. 

I think the community deserves. better service. than they've had from the previous councillor. I have written this email to the council. I don't think they will change their mind. So at least I've tried, I guess. If nothing changes, I won't be voting in this election, which is sadly the ecosystem. Something I would have liked to have done. voating in a county concille election.

No word has yet as to whether the election will be delayed.
