new homes

 When I lived in this village as a child. There was this empty bit of land. Just on the outside of the village. And there used to be a big sign on. It's called Hemli Builders. I assume that one day there was going to be something built on that land. Perhaps I grew up nothing but built. I moved away. And then I came back. And there was still nothing on that land. But recently. Someone local has land. Grab the bit land grabbed the land. And has sold it to a housing association. They have built 16 houses on it.

This will be interesting. To see. Who comes and lives in those houses? It will help with. The local businesses, which aren't many. The shop and the pub. And I guess there'll be kids for the school, maybe. As long as they. Call can make an effort with the language. It's fine. I'm joining the community.

I did apply for a place myself, but I live on my own so I don't really need. Two bedrooms? Which? Just walked the houses are. These houses should be filled within the next few months. They're nice houses. Cheap to run, not like this dumb pile of in. But I couldn't. Make a case for getting one. Hey, Cortana.

I would like to think. That's the council. Will not fill those houses full of. English monoglots as this is manily a welsh speaking community, they can learn of couorse but just in case the resources are not ther for them to dod that I hope the council makes sure there are welsh speakers in development.  Apparentlyh there are over 2000 people on the housing waiting list in Gwynedd. I am assuming they are all elgible to go on the list and are not there just because they requested to be there 

Housing is a big issue in this county due to theings like airbnb and second homes which offer no benefit to the community in the long run. I was listening. To the radio this morning. Now there is. Hello, that says. Welsh Councils. Can prioritise housing for. Well, speakers to preserve. Well speaking communities. I'm hoping this will apply. To the houses that are being built in. The village. I don't think. Having on the Welsh speakers. Having too many non wealth speakers is a good idea for this community.

Shrewsbury prison visit

 I watched a program on the telly the other day about the prison's of Britain, it was called something britain behind bars and it visited some prisons, like Durham it also visited shrewsbury prison which closed in 2013 I think and its where executions were held,. Shrewsbury prison is now a tourist attarction.  I have always wanted to visit prison and now I have the chance to go before it is probably knocked down and the land is sold to developers, well done Shrewsbury council for rejecting the previous plans and the prison would be no more. I am planning to go to Shrewsbury on the train which as it happens the prison is opposite the train station which is handy and the train journey will for the day will give me a few hours in shrewsbury  There is a tour there which you can go whcih is guided and there is one I think you can go on your own I am not sure if that just involves just wondering round yourself I think the guided tour is better as you will get more information, ...

  So they are thinking. about means testing the benefits for disabled people. This solution. is not going to help improve things  for the disabled people. What should be the aim of governments? really? But obviously this government is not interested in helping the disabled. No more than the other rubbish government was willing to have. disabled people. Though I suppose they did introduce the person. independence payment. Which amounted to The previous DLA? but it was a very stressful process to. apply for it. Very difficult. I have realised this more as well by trying to help somebody else get. the benefits. She's finding it hard going. but helping her has helped me not be so anxious about the process I was really all you can do is fill in the form and just hope that. you filled it in properly and that they grant you the benefit, If they don't grant it then many disabled people will struggle which should not be the case really, its not the fault of the disable person that they...

Spices.

I went for a walk today. through the golf course. I haven't been a there for awhile. due to the crap weather. But I thought I'd go. I'll go today. I still a bit anxious when walking. through fields full of sheep after. being hit by that ram a few months ago. It was OK though I hope after doing it more few times. I might not feel so anxious when go  I. got to the lake. I felt like going for a swim. But I hadn't got the things with me, so I didn't bother.  The Karnataka is there. They will move away quite soon. I'm not quite sure where they go. I think they go to some aerobics colder. It's very peaceful up there on the golf course. I am getting plenty of exercise this week when I went. swimming yesterday and a lifelong walk today. I will hopefully go swimming again on Thursday. Hopefully all these exercises doing me good.
