tree planting

I have just read a book on sheep, and it seems from the epilougue there will be less in Wales in the future and there will be more trees around, which makes sense really, there is some land that is owned by the crown estate somwhow, that use to be golf course which once shut and then opened again it will not open again, so now trees should be allowed to grow on but

I am sure the dumb farmers won't allow that as they want their sheep to graze on it,  a woodland there would be nice though its rough and sparce right now.

There were tress given out a while back but I am sure they are all gone now but if I did plant some I am sure the farmer would take them out as they like that, hopefully one day there will be trees there but i doubt I will be around to see that

Above a pic of a dogwood tree I was given a couple of years ago, some information about dogwoeed trees;

Dogwood trees are a beautiful addition to any landscape. They are known for their stunning spring blossoms, which can be white, pink, or red. Here are some key points about dogwood trees:

- **Varieties**: There are several species of dogwood trees, including the flowering dogwood (Cornus florida), the kousa dogwood (Cornus kousa), and the Pacific dogwood (Cornus nuttallii).

- **Appearance**: Dogwood trees typically have a rounded shape and can grow up to 20-30 feet tall. Their leaves are usually oval-shaped and turn vibrant colors in the fall.

- **Flowers**: The flowers of dogwood trees are actually bracts, which are modified leaves that surround the true flowers. These bracts can be quite large and showy.

- **Fruit**: After flowering, dogwood trees produce small, berry-like fruits that are often red or orange. These fruits are a favorite of many bird species.

- **Growing Conditions**: Dogwood trees prefer well-drained soil and partial shade, although they can tolerate full sun. They are relatively low-maintenance but do benefit from regular watering and mulching.

Dogwood trees are not only beautiful but also provide ecological benefits by supporting wildlife.Dogwood trees are not native to Wales. They are primarily native to North America, Europe, and Asia. However, they can be grown in Wales and other parts of the United Kingdom as ornamental trees due to their attractive flowers and foliage. If you're considering planting one, they can add a lovely touch to your garden! 🌸

Dogwood trees can grow to be quite impressive! Depending on the species, they typically reach heights of **20 to 30 feet** (6 to 9 meters) and can spread out to a similar width. Some varieties, like the kousa dogwood, might grow a bit taller, while others, like the dwarf dogwood, stay smaller.

Dogwood trees typically take about **10 to 15 years** to reach their full size, depending on the growing conditions and the specific variety. During this time, they will gradually develop their characteristic shape and beautiful blossoms. With proper care, including regular watering, mulching, and occasional pruning, your dogwood tree can thrive and become a stunning focal point in your garden. 🌳

Hopefully I am around to see the tree grow to a decent size, but if I am move I hope some cunt does not cut it down. I have just bought some silver birch seeds so I can plant some more trees round here I think need to keep these seeds in the for another couple of months
