walk in Rhyd Ddu

I went for walk with the local blind society yesterday for the first time in 2 years and it was made possilble by a new scheme which is run by a set up in the next town where they supply a community transport to take people who don't drive places

I had looked at the bus time table and I could not see any bus that was going the way I wanted so I gave the scheme a ring and it was fine thoguh yesterday I saw while on the journey that there was a bus ahead of us which was a bit awkward that I could have caught, I obvioully must have missed it on the time table, going by the transport did save me an hour though that was not really an issue I made a mistake oh well,

I looked to see if there was a bus home there was but the society's bus was going to the next town where I could catch one bus home and did not have to change, though I forgot my walking stick in the bus station sadly so more expenese

I hope its not two more years before I can go again yesterday was veery nice the scenery was I felt like I had been 'let out' it was quite emotional and my ailments did not bother me which was good and got to catch up with a couple of folks. The path seems ready made but its not too unnatural it seems to fit into the environment

Now I know there is a bus going there I can go there on my own in the future there is a nice lake to go  swimming in there.  Hopefully the next time I take the community transport there is not a bus ahead of us, oh well
