 I have not written on here for a while, but thought I might for a change and to test out the bluetooth keyboard. I got up to an awful day the rain was lashing down but the weather improved as the day went on I was even able to walk from the town home which is three miles and I did not get wet. I went to the foodbank today to help out and I get the impression the plae means different things to different people and who should be being helped. The food in the foodbank is mainly donations so I see as the its people who have nothing really who need it and not people who have a car to take the food away I understand cars are a necessity here but  The foodbank has to be for the very needy as its donation based as i say and it poor people mainly helping poor people I think some associated with the bank since the pandemic think its a payment for listening to advice they are being given but I am just a volunteer so I guess its not my problem I just help out, I should probably move on There was

  I go and see the local football team sometime an they have started to give out a program which basically is crap.  I saw the other teams do a digital one its free and its better so hopefully the local club will start doing one instead. There is a lot about not workers in the news these days it seems to make me feel a bit guilty that I am not working though I live in a place where there is no work and if there is you have to drive to it which I am not able to do due to the fact I my sight is not adequate for that task, its a tough life This morning I looked at desktop publishing options they maybe could use to do an online program there are interesting ones I did not make something to try them out but the google docs slides version looks good and the sway one from microsoft might be good too.  It seems i have another tablet it was suppose to be a replacement but the one I have is a bit fautly but they don't want it back so I have a new one and an ok one I guess. I did not go travelling today instead I did a survey for the RNIB who use the title sight loss as it brings in more money but most people who have a sight issue do not have a loss it was always like that like mine is The survey did come up with ideas how things could be make more accessible to me though it involves compromise on the behalf of others an understanding I guess which I doubt more are willing to undertake but maybe the rnib can make them do these things I doubt it though I guess doing the survey make me think about things and I can more if i like I was not ready to comitte this morning I do not want more rubbish coming through the post though I have nothing else to do these days than answer surverys I guess

 The weather has got a lot cooler recetly I hope the summer has not gone away. I guess at least the weather is dry, its another day of not knowing what to do except do some shopping again and watch the olympics.

I had a swim in the river today this pastime has become popular in the last week or so due to the heatwave we are having at the moment.  This river swimming involves a lot clambering over stones things I have not done since I was child and therefore I have not used those muscles since I was a child in that way and weakness was obvious, I did fall and I have slipped a couple of time which I guess is quite dangerous as I could fall and bang my hea d etc and be lying there for I have no idea for how long and.I guess it could be dangerous as I am on my own It is very nice in the water though a bit cold at the start but you get use to it after a while and I have found a pool I can swim round the buoyancy in a river is not so good as in a swimming pool but the water is cleaner and its more natural I did bang my leg a few times on the stones .  It is July and I guess the swimming in the river will come to and end pretty soon as it will get too cold, the level of the water is pretty low these

  So there is talk of an universal basic income being introduced in Wales though it might be a load of shit as its being introduced by the Labour lot in Wales.  If it did happen it would be good for many disabled people. The benefit system at the moment can be a trap, its not possible to go and try job out as you would have to apply for benefit again it did not work out due the problems that may arise due to the disability, but if there was a basic income to fall back on it would be possible to do this due to knowing you had money coming in if it did not work out. There was a situation when the disability living allowence was first introduced that you had some money coming in and it was guaranteeed but it was not enough to covering living costs so you needed another benetit which pushed you into the trap. If UBI was in place someone with some disabilities could try many jobs to get a good fit.  I guess many people could go and try different jobs and it would change how certain careers

  I ventured out today from and went on a different journey, to the one I have been on the last year or so I went to the coast, thinking foolishly that the p andemic would be over there but it was not you could see the effect of the  terrrible   lockddowns  the place was pretty empty, the traffic was bad but there were no people hardly walking round well not as you I  remember the place it was as if it might have been  sunday  afternoon  there  nota  friday  one   I was interesting seeing people drink in the street as opposed to inside the pub.  It was a lot easier to get around though I guess until you w anted to go in anywhere then the signs really messed me about.   I have got into the habit of not carrying money and it caught me out today as I needed change for the loo.  \I  used  the  one in the bookies instead .   It was nice to just get out and do something different and I spoke to one or two it was easier to do that due to the lack of hustle and bustle  I guess,  its  not the s

Last summer I went swimming in this pool it was pretty cold but it was nice. You could see the bottom the other day as the leaves were not there to make it dark, the laeves on the trees. I hope to go swimming in it again at some point though its not that private I guess as its near a path. I can go swimming to the local pool next week they have decided to let them open I should have booked today reallyj as its not open on Monday due to another bank holiday and I will have to wait till Tuesday to ring up now and hopefully I can go on tuesday afternoon its a load of hastle though but its a swim I guess its its a lot let hastle to go into the river though its too cold right now.   I was caught unawares this morning regarding a meeting I had completely forgot, so a phone call came and I was a bit caught out but it was all ok in the end.   I think I had misunderstood the situation which is not that hard these days with what is going on with my health \I guess it’s a bit of a drag.   It is slightly easier today a bit but not  tha  much I am not too sure what to do next really.   I had a chat on the bus with an old school  colleague.  He is member of a choir which has been suspended for over a year now, he has been a member for over 30 years.  He has not been singing since the  lockdown last year, singing is good for the soul it has health benefits.  I like to sing I live on my own and can sing whenever |I like and don’t  upseit  anyone he does not have that luxury though, so hopefully the  singing will start for him soon, and the community aspect will too.   Most of the members are elderly and the choir is the only social  intereaction  they have they can’t go to

  I have just passed a guide dogs for the blind van, guide dogs is a charity on the side of the van it had the words helping blind children, I feel this is exploiting blind children and a way of getting money from the public, it is a very wealthy charity anyway and gets money from animal lovers, by exploiting the children it gives the impression of not having their best interests at heart and it is hard enough  It has been a nice day weather wise today and I am sure the weather will change soon as its been dry for a fair bit now its not as warm as last year's fantastic spring but I guess that was a one off as \i had never seen one like that before.  It did go down hill when summer came though hopefully it won't this year. I seem to be getting into the swing of this election that is coming up in Wales and hoping there is not more labour governments here 22 yrs is long enough and if they are not removed there will be a clamering to get rid of the senedd.  The quality of candidate is quite bad n some places I guess  Wales is small so the choice is not good and I guess that could be an arguement against independence we would have limited choice on who runs the country. It has been a nice day today weather wiseI di d not manage a walk though sadaly but something good did happen I have been invited to and stay with a friend which is I might do later on when things get a bit easier in this pandemic. I managed not to have the heating on today for the first time so it must be getting warmer though its nothing  like last spring which was brilliant .  Time seems to fly by these days these weeks months it si qute unnerving really but there is not a lot I can do.   Another day of going through the motions, the shops were open today though I was expecting more traffic but I guess the flouters have been coming for weeks now and maybe the increase in traffic will not really be seen until the summer.  The weather is not inviting here and the pubs are still closed I guess. I did my stint in the foodbank today someone came in without a sheet and was given food theplace is not  soup kitchen and its hard to know if people are telling the truth and especially when they ask for custom made packs the story he was telling seemed a bit over the top to be honest I know a bit of food is not going to be missed and its run by the church who are know for their charity and have been taken advantaged of around here over the years.   Winter is back today it has been snowing this morning though the sun is out now but its still very cold really nothing like this time last year when it was like summer. I am sure it will get batter soon enough There is still no sign that the restrictions are coming to an end anytime soon except that shops will open next week I guess which is no big deal as that will increase the wretched traffic too I guess..  The peace and quiet is the only good thing from the restrictions. Apparently its 39 years this weekend when the falklands war started and by coincidence I have started to read a book on the subject, I do remember a fair bit of it going on it has been described as two bald men fighting over a comb.

  I decided to go for walk a bit earlier than usual today as someone had given me the address of a farm where one of my ancestors use to live over 150 years ago.  The place is  called Tyn y Fedwen I did not know where the place was but I had heard the name, anyway my cousine told me where it was yesterday it was not where I thought it was. When I got there there was no name on the gate or anything like that so I had to take it on face value the place is empty and seems to have been for many years which is sad as there is a housing crisis around here and its not good that some people are hoarding property.  The place needs a lot of work but some would relish the challenge some young ones and it would make a lovely home for someone its not right that people hoard property just for its sake. this hoarding seems a farmer's trait maybe they don't trust banks or it makes them seem important that they have a lot of property standing empty, while the waiting list for homes gets longer

  Its Easter again and the traffic has in creased I guess most of them are not suppose to be here  but there is no deterant to keep them from here only their own goodwill a sixty pound fine is not going to make much odds to them. It will be tough for a while as my life is still on hold but all the other fuckers can come here so I am being short changed by the Labour bastards again, this a dminsistration has been vile. I guess I will be able to use the shops or just see them open but that;s all I was thinking earlier how my father would have managed uring this lockdown bolox h would have probably gone mad as he had worked since he was 7 I guess he wold have been allowed to carry on making bread so he might not have stuggled but I doubt he would have been allowed to deliver bread I had a chat about my family history he said my grandfather's father bought the family farm in about 1920m but acrding to the cnsus he was there 20 years earlier i guess he could have been a tennent before b

  I went and did the stint in the foodbank today and the new shelves had arrived the place needs sorting out now as everything is all over the place.  There was also and unwanted guest there today a bird had flown in and did not wan to leave. I left them to it I had idea how to get it out of there,  The problem is the door are wide open and this is the second one now in a matter of months the doors will have to kept closed from now on as its a bit of a nuisance.  The last time one was in there it shat all over the place I really don't want to be the one who has to clean the mess up tomorrow as hopefully it will be waiting to leave in the morning when someone goes in.   I did not have to change the clock today and participate in this debarcle due to the fact I refused to last time basically as I could not be bothered and that the clock is  a bit rickety and it might come apart in my hand.  It is now on time for the next 6 monthsm it is no big deal either way really. I guess now it will be lighter later. Though it has been pretty dark today and gloomy for most of the day due to the weather where its blowing a gale an raining very miserable and not easy to get out and walk. We have restictions here due to the virus but in the street at the moment is a car with a foreign registration and they seem to be renting I guess the restrictions are not working as they suppose and the sooner they are gone the less stress there will be I guess.

  It is quite wintery out ody the  wind is very cold, as I have just found out a s I have been for a walk, the wind is pretty strong really, and you can't feel the warmth from the sun. I walked along the main road which has been quiet I thought it would be busy but it wasn't I guess the lockdow is still doing something. Sadly someone was shot yesterday I have never heard of anyone being shot here before my brother reckons therew was when I was at school but I have no recollection of it really. The man was shot by his son apparently I know where the house is I was near there an hour or so before passed it on the bus, Apparently some of the e restictions are being lifted today the useless stay local bolox is going and self contained accommodation is ok which includes en suite these restrictions are not straight forward at all. I am well over the effects of the vaccine now thankfullly just have to go through it all again in a few weeks, it will be here soon enough as times goes by

 So half of us will miss some aspects of this lockdon thing aparently, well I guess I will be in the half that does, I will mis the peace and quiet on the roads. And just the peace in the house due to that I have tried to make sure it lasts a bit by adding some stone outside the window i doubt it will help much though The weather is ok today not raining at the mment , I have just got back from a walk round the block.  There seems to be a lot more traffic around I am not too sure if the people who are on the road are supposed to be here I suspect not, some think the rules that are given out don't apply to them or maybe don't understand it has become a bit difficult these days I am not too sure the rules are to do with the virus or politics it seems to have gotten mixed up which maybe be symptom again of poor management of the virus which has occured here sadly.  Today is year on from when we were first told to stay at home and in the meantime i have had the vaccine its unreal having to put up with restrictions and now having to have a vaccine. I was not sure about having this jab but I think there is pressure to take and apparently I will not end up in intensive care well not with the virus anyway I may with the side effects if they are stronger than the one I have had from the the first one of headache and photophobia, feeling out of sorts and the tinnitus being worse. The weather going into the lockdown last year was un real this year is not so nice its cold and feeling wintery last year was summery. Looking back on the post I wrote going into the the lockdown I was not very happy and found it very difficult which it was I guess I got a new tablet today after breaking the other one which was a stupid thing to do.   The irony of the coronavirus measures is that it has reduced the death rate from flu here where I live probably people may have died from other things though I guess like alcoholism or suicide more than previous years, The rubbish government in Cardiff did say shops were going to be opened but they changed their mind which is a kick in the teeth for shops and the salt is rubbed in the wound by supermarkets being allowed to sell the things you can't 

  |It is an appauling day weather wise, it has been at all day raining and blowing a gail it makes it hard to get about so I hae not bothered as yet. it sounds vile out there. apparently it is gojng to be here for a couple of days which is not good especially in these circomstances of the restrictions  Apparently the restricitons are going to be changed on friday but it seems to be quite confusing what is going to happen which has been the theme of the way these admins have dealt with the situttion they don't seem to have gotten any better as the time goes on they were slow and have remained slow.  The vaccine is being given out quite quickly though and I should be called soon enough though I am still a bit un sure about having it as I don't see anyone to get this thing anyway. When the restriciotns are lifted it will be a bitter sweet thing i will be glad to get back to the way things were except for the traffic I have not missed the noise of the traffic rummbling through the

  Getting to see a doctor is not as easy as it used to be before this pandemic, you now have to ring up try to pass the receptionist and then get a call back from the doctor at some point and then you might get a face to face this could take up to three days I guess which is a long time if you feel you really need help. I found it quicker to go to A and E, really but that may have a been a one off and it might not be so easy to see someone next time i go there which won't be for a while as the virus is in the hospital. I got the stone delivered for the front yesterday the bag was bigger than I thought it will take me long time to get it out of the bag but what else have I got to do I suppose, shovel load by shoval load |I will get there but maybe i should have ordered less but then again its there now doing the job it was intended for though I am not sure if it works yet as the traffic is very limited not thankfully. I don't know if this plan will work I shall just have to wait

  I went for a walk today and managed to make more sense of my surroundings I could work out land marks due to the camera on the phone which is a better one than the one I had. The pic is of the village where I live and taken from a valley called Cwm Cynfal it has been a nice day and it was an interesting walk This afternoon I got some stone delivered to be used to help manage the vibrations of the cars as they go by I am not sure if it will work but it was not a massive outlay hopefully it does.

I seem to be getting into continuous discussions these days about whether Wales/Cymru should be an independent country its a big move I guess but I have always wanted to live in country which its open people runs.  I am Welsh not through choice but through birth really so I don't have to just be Welsh but i have seen that Wales gets short changed a lot recently but maybe I have been short changed by every one lately due to this pandemic thing. I became aware of being Welsh when I went away to college a lot time ago and was a bit touchy about people having a go at me about it.   The welsh language and culture gets shit in the media but i am not too sure if independence is the answer to that.  Even in an independent Wales the language might st

  It seems the vaccination program is going well and I should get mine a few weeks I am not too sure if I want it but if it stops me getting too ill then I guess I will.  I am not too sure the fact the program is going well makes up for the mistakes that have happened in the this crisis but I guess that will be sorted out. It seems they are reluctant to losen the restrictions now even though the numbers are going down of deaths etc.  It will be strange having traffic back on the road when it happnes I guess It has been a miserable day weather wise. I bought something off ebay the other day and was hoping it would arrive yesterday but the chap has given the wrong email address so I have to cancel and take the money back and it will arrive in y account at some point but in the mean time the chap has posted the thing I wanted so fair enough it has  been a positive encounter so far these things happnen. It is very cold today infact its freezing as it was yesterday but its dry I guess. i have started to put some seeds out for the birds as they might struggle to find food in this hard ground but so far they are not that interested.  I bought a big bag of seeds they were not expesive but they need eating I guess I had a chat about the fact that a guy threw his foodbank stuff in the bin yesterday some thought it might be because if he refused the stuff in the foodbank he might feel he might not get help again its a very difficult situation I guess suppose. This restrictions lark has been reallyj difficult due to not having a job to go to as it would have given me a routine and social contact but there it is its been really tough due to all the problmes with the restictions and the blunt instrument of the restrictions causing untold damage on aspects of society.  It is hard to recall if ever such ignorance was used to attend to a situation.  I took a little hand held recorder up to the hill in the centre of the villlage earlier and my phone recorded this video, the recorder is connected to the phone with an usb connection I thought the recorder wuold capture how quiet it is in the village during the latest round of restrictions due to the virus. I doubt it will be this quiet this time next year when this whole thing is finally over I still think its unreal all this pandemic stuff but it is gojng on.  On an usual thursday afternoon it would be a lot busier than this obviously          

  I still find it a bit bewildering that I am caught up in a pandemic that the world is in a pandemic and if the people trying to get us out of this situation are the same I guess its not and easy task.  We are experiencing what no has experienced for over a hundred years it came from nowhere well except it came from China apparently This is another day of restrictions where businesses are shut down and the like I am not too sure if these measures have any impact on on the spread of the virus, there are things like the rate of infection which tells us what is going on but on the other side there is is the testing regime lower testing lower infection rate being detected its very difficult to understand the numbers and graphs especially when they are not that accessible Today is the day I go and date some stuff in the foodbank again it gets me out of the house I suppose though its dry at the moment so I guess I could go out for a walk.  I wonder if anyone reads these posts I have only on

  It is another nasty day today a wet and cold one though it is winter I guess and hopefully spring is here soon.  I hope we don't have a late spring like we did few years ago when it was still winter in March.
