winter

 It is another nasty day today a wet and cold one though it is winter I guess and hopefully spring is here soon.  I hope we don't have a late spring like we did few years ago when it was still winter in March.

It is another day of the place being quiet I think I might struggle when the noise level goes up again whenever that is it seem nothing will change for three weeks though I get the impression people are getting fed up now and stretching the rules as they are not a lot can be done the language has been awful this crisis ie lockdown why would you put people who are under the threat of pandemic in a lockdown its ridiculous to say the least 

Apparetly there are two more cases of this thing in the village I am not sure you catch it really as its very low in Wales right now you would have to be very unlucky.

The vaccine you get for this seems to only give you a level of protection from getting too ill and no one knows if it stops you speading it they have dished it out because of the seriousness of the situation and the fact people are dying and economies crumbling and the mental health damage of the restrictions the fact that others are having to forgo treatment due to the fact the health service was not up to the task and the fact that the politicians are not up to the task of helping the residents of the country 

It has been really frustrating being the guinea pigs for politicians in relation to the measures they have been using and the fact that they are not responsible enough to deal with the power and the oppotunities this pandemic has afforded some individuals.  This is ironic as I am supporter of Welsh independence and want welsh people to rule the country of Wales but by the latest showing they would make a balls up of it but independene is different to devolution, the power this labour shitshow has wielded seems to have been unchallanged which has not been good for moral of the people of Wales sadly and has made this pandemic a lot harder than it need to have been hopefully Wales bins this shitshow soon.

The euro 2020 was cancelled last year for obvious reasons and its being held all over europe maybe it would be easier they had it in one country and it would go ahead, if its behind closed doors it won't be the same it will be a bit sad but there is not a lot anyone can do

There is a premier league fixture on the telly today these are on because of these restrictions I am not too sure when the last was that first division teams were on the telly besides the pay channels

I did a zoom course yesterday and it was going on until I had to go into a break out room which freaked me out a bit as i had not done anything like tha before so I gave up on the course which as not that interesting anyway I guess I found it hardish to follow being that it was in Welsh which is my first language so I am a bit ashamed of saying this 

I went for the bus earlier but it did not turn up with a look at the time table they seem to have taken it off I will have to ring and find out I guess.  Its another fucking weekend with not being allowed into the pub for some reason as I believe they are safe well the one I went to was safe anyway, this whole restrictions bollox is really getting tedious

Well I achieved something last night, which I thought was going to be beyond me, I guess to a lot of people what I achieved, was pretty trivial, but I guess we all see things different;ly, what I achieved was to get over 170 score in a whist drive.  Last night was the first time I had ever done it, had a few scores in the 160's but not in the 170's which I see as the holy grail of scores to get as you will probably win then, which in fact I didn't last night, someone scored more than me, by 1 point.  I was not that bothered about that, all I was concerned about was getting a score above 170, I have been going to whist for years off and on and was never, until last night able to get the magic score, I am surprised I got the score last night as I had a bad headache all evening, I guess it was the luck of the cards that got me through. great war

I went to an exhibition today, which was about the first world war, it mainly seemed to be full of photos of men from my home village who had fallen in the great war, they were all young obviously not ravaged by time.  It was a bit sad to think that so many young men from the place where I grew up were killed, it had their names and the names of where they lived, the names of houses and streets are the same today Sometimes you feel the outside world does not affect what happens here, but I guess it must do as it dragged a load of the young men here into the conflict which was going on at that time, I am not sure I agree with them going to fight, but that is neither here nor there, the fact is they did and that was what was going on at that time. My grandfather was in the first world war, but he was lucky enough to survive, even though he did leave his calf muscle over there in wherever he was, it must have been hell for him really and I guess I will never know what he saw there, al

I did not go the 4th day of the walk, I could not face another 10 miles of plodding around the countryside, I think this is mainly due to the fact that I have not been walking quite so much in the last year, due to bad weather and things like that.  I did not think I would even finish 2 days but I did 3 in the end, more than anyone else except the person who organised the walk.   Instead of going on the walk i tidied up around the place, and just sat around, and also watched the football this afternoon, it was a crap day.  I did not even go for a short walk, its still perishing out there, I have a short walk on Wednesday, a kind of trail run for group who want to do this short walk, a recky or something they call it. I have at last heard when the new kitchen is being put in, apparently its on the !0th of April, I should have a received a 21 day notice but I didn't, which I guess is typical of the organisation who are doing the work.
