I was caught unawares this morning regarding a meeting I had completely forgot, so a phone call came and I was a bit caught out but it was all ok in the end.  I think I had misunderstood the situation which is not that hard these days with what is going on with my health \I guess it’s a bit of a drag.  It is slightly easier today a bit but not tha much I am not too sure what to do next really.

I had a chat on the bus with an old school colleague.  He is member of a choir which has been suspended for over a year now, he has been a member for over 30 years.  He has not been singing since the lockdown last year, singing is good for the soul it has health benefits.  I like to sing I live on my own and can sing whenever |I like and don’t upseit anyone he does not have that luxury though, so hopefully the singing will start for him soon, and the community aspect will too.

Most of the members are elderly and the choir is the only social intereaction they have they can’t go to the pub maybe due to health reasons, they may be widowed and therefore the choir has become their family.  It is very sad what has happened to these people due to the pandemic.

My friend has been singing for over 30 years so it had become part of his life and to have it stoppped is hard the same as I have felt with the pubs closing going to the pub has been my life for over 40 years.  I did moan about it from time to time but I guess I won’t from now on.

My world has become so small the only interaction I get is on the bus really which is not a lot

I came across an advert today for a board member for this housing association I have not had a great relationship with the this association they have lied to me and take ages to make repairs and the rent seems to be a lot more than when under the council, this role pays though which is good and is only 2 days a month.

This pandemic has been hard going for everyone really I guess I hope we are on the way up now anyway, the pubs opened outside yesterday they are not opening inside for a few more weeks which is a drag
