 This is the first day of the very controversial policy by the labour administration in Cardiff, its called a firebreak it essentially has closed things down and given people rules or reiterated rules that will last a couple of weeks in an effort to halt the virus.

The policy to me seems a bit over the top as the virus is low here and is as far as I can see low in Wales in general to get it down more all they needed to do was to tweek a few things improve on their communication a little bit but this is more like trying to crack a nut with a hammer and smack of a bit of power going to their heads and its not what devolution was designed for its for the people of Wales not the labour shit show.

It is not a great day to start off this rubbish either if there is a good day to start it its very wet and gloomy a typical october day.  I popped up to the local to go to the chemist but it was closed for some reason and I did pop into the supermarket it was very quiet in the town.  Apparently the bus service i used to get the next town has changed though there is no information on the website.

I did not have to wait too long for another bus though but I was a bit anxious about getting on it as its not been plain sailing with this company over the last few months problems with masks and just attitude from some drivers, but it turned out to be alright.

I have taken to social media to really have a go at the fire thingy policy I am so angry which is not good as I have an ulcer already.  The traffic level has reduced to nothing which I guess is one good thing for now.

This policy has introduced a non essential items thing into it and I am not too sure what a non essetial item is really and the labour shit show has not given a definition. The only non essential thing round here is the labour shit show if you ask me.

I spoke to friend today who has been given proton inhibitor tablets they do help him but he does not knwo what he is being treated for and why they are helping he was anxious about being addicted which they are not designed to be I explained this to him I am not sure if is my job to do that though.

Well I achieved something last night, which I thought was going to be beyond me, I guess to a lot of people what I achieved, was pretty trivial, but I guess we all see things different;ly, what I achieved was to get over 170 score in a whist drive.  Last night was the first time I had ever done it, had a few scores in the 160's but not in the 170's which I see as the holy grail of scores to get as you will probably win then, which in fact I didn't last night, someone scored more than me, by 1 point.  I was not that bothered about that, all I was concerned about was getting a score above 170, I have been going to whist for years off and on and was never, until last night able to get the magic score, I am surprised I got the score last night as I had a bad headache all evening, I guess it was the luck of the cards that got me through. great war

I went to an exhibition today, which was about the first world war, it mainly seemed to be full of photos of men from my home village who had fallen in the great war, they were all young obviously not ravaged by time.  It was a bit sad to think that so many young men from the place where I grew up were killed, it had their names and the names of where they lived, the names of houses and streets are the same today Sometimes you feel the outside world does not affect what happens here, but I guess it must do as it dragged a load of the young men here into the conflict which was going on at that time, I am not sure I agree with them going to fight, but that is neither here nor there, the fact is they did and that was what was going on at that time. My grandfather was in the first world war, but he was lucky enough to survive, even though he did leave his calf muscle over there in wherever he was, it must have been hell for him really and I guess I will never know what he saw there, al

I did not go the 4th day of the walk, I could not face another 10 miles of plodding around the countryside, I think this is mainly due to the fact that I have not been walking quite so much in the last year, due to bad weather and things like that.  I did not think I would even finish 2 days but I did 3 in the end, more than anyone else except the person who organised the walk.   Instead of going on the walk i tidied up around the place, and just sat around, and also watched the football this afternoon, it was a crap day.  I did not even go for a short walk, its still perishing out there, I have a short walk on Wednesday, a kind of trail run for group who want to do this short walk, a recky or something they call it. I have at last heard when the new kitchen is being put in, apparently its on the !0th of April, I should have a received a 21 day notice but I didn't, which I guess is typical of the organisation who are doing the work.
