Shit bus service continues

Well as of yesterday, I don't have a kitchen, except for the sink and my cooker, it was all stripped out yesterday so I can have a new one put in eventually, I say eventually as they were suppose to be here today to do the rewiring, which I have heard is going to be pretty messy with dust everywhere, which is a bit of a pain but I guess it has to be done..  After the rewiring comes the plastering eventually and so on until they actually do finish at some point in the future.  The upheavel is a bit of a drag, I have to keep walking from the spare room to the kitchen bringing things from there and taking them back and forth.  I wish I had not started all this sometimes but I am sure it will be fine in the end.

I bought the local rag today, and it was again full of stories regarding shit public transport about how people are now trapped in their homes and suffering isolation.  I was on a bus today and I could hear this woman complaining about how a bus which was running up to about month ago had been cancelled and how inconvenient it was, the fact that the bus had stopped and the fact they had not heard it was being stopped.  Regarding this public transport it is hard to know what to do.  The main culprits of the bad service around here are the Gwynedd council, Express Motors and Arriva buses..  When someone complained about the shit transport, they excuse given was that more buses would be put on if more people used them, but of course, that's a contradiction, you need a good service, then people will use it, this shit thing is useless.

Well I achieved something last night, which I thought was going to be beyond me, I guess to a lot of people what I achieved, was pretty trivial, but I guess we all see things different;ly, what I achieved was to get over 170 score in a whist drive.  Last night was the first time I had ever done it, had a few scores in the 160's but not in the 170's which I see as the holy grail of scores to get as you will probably win then, which in fact I didn't last night, someone scored more than me, by 1 point.  I was not that bothered about that, all I was concerned about was getting a score above 170, I have been going to whist for years off and on and was never, until last night able to get the magic score, I am surprised I got the score last night as I had a bad headache all evening, I guess it was the luck of the cards that got me through. great war

I went to an exhibition today, which was about the first world war, it mainly seemed to be full of photos of men from my home village who had fallen in the great war, they were all young obviously not ravaged by time.  It was a bit sad to think that so many young men from the place where I grew up were killed, it had their names and the names of where they lived, the names of houses and streets are the same today Sometimes you feel the outside world does not affect what happens here, but I guess it must do as it dragged a load of the young men here into the conflict which was going on at that time, I am not sure I agree with them going to fight, but that is neither here nor there, the fact is they did and that was what was going on at that time. My grandfather was in the first world war, but he was lucky enough to survive, even though he did leave his calf muscle over there in wherever he was, it must have been hell for him really and I guess I will never know what he saw there, al

I did not go the 4th day of the walk, I could not face another 10 miles of plodding around the countryside, I think this is mainly due to the fact that I have not been walking quite so much in the last year, due to bad weather and things like that.  I did not think I would even finish 2 days but I did 3 in the end, more than anyone else except the person who organised the walk.   Instead of going on the walk i tidied up around the place, and just sat around, and also watched the football this afternoon, it was a crap day.  I did not even go for a short walk, its still perishing out there, I have a short walk on Wednesday, a kind of trail run for group who want to do this short walk, a recky or something they call it. I have at last heard when the new kitchen is being put in, apparently its on the !0th of April, I should have a received a 21 day notice but I didn't, which I guess is typical of the organisation who are doing the work.
