cat

 I took the bus to Caernarfon yesterday morning  I thught I might go and see the cat sanctuart place as I have been thinking about getting a cat for a while now.  Going there might involves some walking and it was a nice day so off I went.

When I got to where the cat place was I was a bit hesitant about where to get off so decided to go to the next town and get the bus from there which involved staying on the bus for another hour and then it would be hour back again, taking the sceinic route to the place really, 

I got the village where the cat place is eventually and google maps took me there after a bit of fuss, I knew the place might not be open due to it closing at 12.30 pm I thought I would go and have a look anyway and someone stopped and said there was someone there so off I went I saw a few cats and I guess its made want a cat a bit little bit more I guess.

I had to make my way home then and I knew I had half an hour to get to the bus stop, I kind remembered the way to the stop but on putting the destination into google maps it showed another route I was not sure whether to trust it or not but off I went and it it was wrong I was stuck there for 2 hours more, well it wasn't wrong and got me to the bus stop in half the time, the wonders of technology I guess

I am still unsure about taking a cat or how I will go and pick one up but I am sure I will sort it out eventually. I can't decide. whether to have. a cat flap. in the door. as I really don't want draught coming in. in the winter. But it would make it easier for the cat to come and go. I guess. I wouldn't be. tied down to opening and closing the damn door all the time. I am not sure. who can fit the cat flap? but I guess I have time to think about that as the cat is going to be in the house for a few weeks. when it eventually arrives. which I'm sure it will eventually.

I did think there was more choice than there was in the centre. But I guess it doesn't really matter. my niece was thinking of getting rid of her cuts. as she is going to go to Australia. and I did. offered to take one, but things changed. I guess I could get in touch again. Not quite sure really what's to do.

I did quite like. a multicoloured cat that was there, but then when I came home, I thought I would rather have a black cat. and the black cats that were there seemed to be quite calm I really don't want something jumping around the place.

Well I achieved something last night, which I thought was going to be beyond me, I guess to a lot of people what I achieved, was pretty trivial, but I guess we all see things different;ly, what I achieved was to get over 170 score in a whist drive.  Last night was the first time I had ever done it, had a few scores in the 160's but not in the 170's which I see as the holy grail of scores to get as you will probably win then, which in fact I didn't last night, someone scored more than me, by 1 point.  I was not that bothered about that, all I was concerned about was getting a score above 170, I have been going to whist for years off and on and was never, until last night able to get the magic score, I am surprised I got the score last night as I had a bad headache all evening, I guess it was the luck of the cards that got me through. great war

I went to an exhibition today, which was about the first world war, it mainly seemed to be full of photos of men from my home village who had fallen in the great war, they were all young obviously not ravaged by time.  It was a bit sad to think that so many young men from the place where I grew up were killed, it had their names and the names of where they lived, the names of houses and streets are the same today Sometimes you feel the outside world does not affect what happens here, but I guess it must do as it dragged a load of the young men here into the conflict which was going on at that time, I am not sure I agree with them going to fight, but that is neither here nor there, the fact is they did and that was what was going on at that time. My grandfather was in the first world war, but he was lucky enough to survive, even though he did leave his calf muscle over there in wherever he was, it must have been hell for him really and I guess I will never know what he saw there, al

I did not go the 4th day of the walk, I could not face another 10 miles of plodding around the countryside, I think this is mainly due to the fact that I have not been walking quite so much in the last year, due to bad weather and things like that.  I did not think I would even finish 2 days but I did 3 in the end, more than anyone else except the person who organised the walk.   Instead of going on the walk i tidied up around the place, and just sat around, and also watched the football this afternoon, it was a crap day.  I did not even go for a short walk, its still perishing out there, I have a short walk on Wednesday, a kind of trail run for group who want to do this short walk, a recky or something they call it. I have at last heard when the new kitchen is being put in, apparently its on the !0th of April, I should have a received a 21 day notice but I didn't, which I guess is typical of the organisation who are doing the work.
