no snow

Well there was no snow today to be seen anywhere so it was another fucked up weather forecast I guess, it was the usual rain and loads of it it did resemble snow in some respects , it was cold 

I discovered my phone lens for the camera had cracked I had no idea how that happened but it took me five minutes on google to find the cause, it is due to a defect in the phone but google won't fix it apparently and it could cost for me to get it fixed so I have oreded a replacement from ebay and will do it myself if i can or get someone to help

I made enquiries today about setting a group that gives people a chance to practise speaking welsh I think learners need as much encouragement as they can get as they were not fortionate enough to be brought up with the language Its been tough seeing bigots having a go at my culture and language on social media so I guess setting up this group would be my way of pushing back against the dominant culture of englishj

My laptop has been acting up for the past few days, refusing to shut down properly. I suspect it got stuck on an update. messing about wih clocks

Tonight is the night they mess around with the clocks again, so it will be dark earlier, according to the clock tomorrow, which is shame really, as its dark enough as it is at this time of year, they should be turning the clock forward really so that we get more light in the evening, but I guess that would mean it would be dark in the morning, and those who get up early might not like that, but there are street lights these days, these old rules need changing.  Apparently it is something to do with Scotland that they 'need' it lighter in the morning, well I wish they would have got their independence and we could be spared this messing around with the clock.  Apparenlty this messing around is bad for some people's health and it has been reported that some people suffer a heart attack.  Well I guess its going to happen so I might aswell just accept it, at least the weather makes stupid things like this a bit more bareable ,it has not been too badk today and its not going t...

New Year

  Well we had a different new years eve last night, there was power outage, this was the second in few weeks there seems to be a lot on this line as parts of the village rarely get affected, its a nuisance, I call this street power cut street, we should be paying less standing charge, which is extortion anyway. There was a huge roar in the pub when the electric came back and everyone could pay for their drinks the tills could not work obviously.   I did not see the new year in in the pub I came home for that as I had gone out earlier to get warm in the pub  Basically it was shit end to shit year where health issues have made life a bit difficult for me, those issues are still around so they have the potential to make this year just as shit I guess, hopefully that won't happen I seemed to be the oldest in the pub by the time it was time to go home except for  a neighbour who is a few months older than me, anyway it has gone now, I guess and we have move on  ...
