The craziness of this fucking pandemic goes on apparently a friend of mine who is black is twice as likely to die of this shit the virus is racist my friend is a keen sports person but apparently he will suffer more than a couch potato than me.

 This virus seems to be a monster an gets at everything and there seems no way out of this shit right now for some reason and every day is the same  I have arthritsi in my knees maybe that it is the virus that it causing that but I reckon that its the lockdown and the stress of that probably and the isolation that causes.

 I took the bus today to another ghost village and you feel like an outsider the place was eerrily ghostly its more like there might have been a nuclear accident as opposed to virus.  I  don't thnk the people in the shop see anyone besides the people in the village but I needed to get out of this village and going to the local shop is not that inviting really these days it takes a lot longer to go on the bus these days as it can be risky also the drivers might tell me to get off as I am not suppoe to travel and I miss the bus its not possible to get home with a lift as no one will pick me up due ot social distancing

 I was hoping that charity would ring back after I told them about  one of their employees but now it makes me wonder what it going on really but I guess I did not say I wanted anything I suppose maybe the bastard has been fucked off

Well I achieved something last night, which I thought was going to be beyond me, I guess to a lot of people what I achieved, was pretty trivial, but I guess we all see things different;ly, what I achieved was to get over 170 score in a whist drive.  Last night was the first time I had ever done it, had a few scores in the 160's but not in the 170's which I see as the holy grail of scores to get as you will probably win then, which in fact I didn't last night, someone scored more than me, by 1 point.  I was not that bothered about that, all I was concerned about was getting a score above 170, I have been going to whist for years off and on and was never, until last night able to get the magic score, I am surprised I got the score last night as I had a bad headache all evening, I guess it was the luck of the cards that got me through. great war

I went to an exhibition today, which was about the first world war, it mainly seemed to be full of photos of men from my home village who had fallen in the great war, they were all young obviously not ravaged by time.  It was a bit sad to think that so many young men from the place where I grew up were killed, it had their names and the names of where they lived, the names of houses and streets are the same today Sometimes you feel the outside world does not affect what happens here, but I guess it must do as it dragged a load of the young men here into the conflict which was going on at that time, I am not sure I agree with them going to fight, but that is neither here nor there, the fact is they did and that was what was going on at that time. My grandfather was in the first world war, but he was lucky enough to survive, even though he did leave his calf muscle over there in wherever he was, it must have been hell for him really and I guess I will never know what he saw there, al

I did not go the 4th day of the walk, I could not face another 10 miles of plodding around the countryside, I think this is mainly due to the fact that I have not been walking quite so much in the last year, due to bad weather and things like that.  I did not think I would even finish 2 days but I did 3 in the end, more than anyone else except the person who organised the walk.   Instead of going on the walk i tidied up around the place, and just sat around, and also watched the football this afternoon, it was a crap day.  I did not even go for a short walk, its still perishing out there, I have a short walk on Wednesday, a kind of trail run for group who want to do this short walk, a recky or something they call it. I have at last heard when the new kitchen is being put in, apparently its on the !0th of April, I should have a received a 21 day notice but I didn't, which I guess is typical of the organisation who are doing the work.
