I found an old photograph of the village on the internet today it was in the local community pubs twitter feed, the pub is called the Pengwern.  The photo was taken from across the road here on the hill in the middle of the village and it was taken in 1973 and discovered in the negatives of some photographer who I can't recall's name.   I went and took photo from the same place this morning and when I got there I was surprised to see that I could not see the original image it changed now there was a load of trees there.  If it had been winter I might have got a clearer image but it being in the summer the trees are full of leaves.  I remember the houses as they were then I was 10 years old there is one car there in the original photo which is different to now the place is packed with cars t is really interesting to how things change here over the years I guess that's one of the advantages of getting older you can see more changes

When growing up in this village as a child its sometimes easy to think there was no life before you were there but of course there is the village has been through load of periods and is now in the pandemic of 2020, when I say that it is really unerving indeed and scary as no one knows when this shit will end which it will of course as humans have come though pandemics in the past but the beleaguring nature of this one and the shit policies regarding is taking a toll on my mental and physical health to be honest
