I decided to go and help out the people who are getting the pub ready for opening this morning, I nearly regreted it, as I threw something into the skip but did not see the person standing there, I nearly hit them, luckily I didn't though.     There was enough people at the pub this afternoon so I decided to go to Porthmadog for ride and to get some things.

Today is a horrible day weather wise, the rain and wind is back, basically winter is back.  I was listening to the radio this morning and they were on about changes to the benefit, I think the government would be better served trying to claw in the 12 billion of unpaid taxes that is owed to this country.   I seemed to have developed a painful elbow, not sure how, i guess I will need a trio to the doctor's surgery.

The work on getting the hotel in the village ready to be opened in month's time has started today, the place is being cleaned up and made ready for painting.  The village now own the hotel and it will be run by the residents of the village, not sure if it will work, I guess we shall just have to wait and see.   My old glasses have finally broke i have had them a very long but have now snapped in the middle, I am waiting to get some new ones but they are taking their time, I will try and get these fixed, they just need some soldering I think.

Another fine day weather wise, I decided to listen to the Wales football game today, wish I had not bothered as they lost agan 2 nil, from listening to it, they seemed to be playing really badly, I don't think they have appointed the right manager and to choose a kid who has not played much football lately to be captain was a stupid desicion I reckon

The bus up to the next town was late as per usual, its not a problem. I got the usual papers I get on a Thursday morining this morning, one for the local news and one for the jobs pages, though there is never anything in them worth applying for I guess.

On the way to Blaenau this morning, the bus broke down just outside Manod, i did not know how long it  would take a replacement bus to come so I walked.  The bus company who owns the bus is called Express Motors, but they are locally known as distressed motors, as they use to have, but have improved, a load of junk as buses, and used to break down all the time,  Even though the buses have improved, but the service is still piss poor, the name has stuck I guess.

Today apparently is the offical first day of spring, though the weather is not very spring like, its pretty misty out there and pretty damp, though I guess its not that cold.   I am in my 7th week of this computer course I think, its not that great but I guess its better than nothing, there is not a lot of things going on around here its a bad area for employment opporunities and bad for any opportunities I guess unless you like the outdoor life and then I guess its not too bad as its a nice place to go walking   I have been trying for a most of the morning to find out if there is a sunday service for a train service which goes from Barmouth to penrhyndeudraeth, the timetable says no, but that can sometimes, well a lot of the time, be wrong but it seems its right this time and there is no service, I have tried to contact network rail and the local traveline and they have come up with no service, I am sure there use be one in the past but I guess things have changed.
