water meter

Found yesterday that I have a frozen shoulder this was deduced by the fact that my range of movement there is reduced.  I was given some exercise to do which should hopefully losen it the exercises are mainly stretching ones to get rid of the stiffness I guess.  The appointment I had was at the newly refurbished medical centre. I have another appointment there next week but I have forgotten the time of the thing which is not good I guess.  I am hoping to bump into the bloke who gave me the appointment which might be ok as he lives near me.

The weather is still cold the wind is quite nippy, I am typing this with the newly purchased wireless keyboard the key are not as good as I was hoping they are a bit mushy and not that firm, but I guess what do I expect for the price if I want good one I guess I have to pay the right price.  The old one I had the spacebar was sticking down and therefore there were no spaces between the words which was annoying I guess it might have had something to with the me being so heavy handed with it.

I am still waiting for the DWP to get in touch regarding my benefit its been over 2 months and it really is a drag.  I am still a bit fucked off with the way they contacted me about the process which I was not expecting at all it just came out of the blue but I guess that's the type of climate we live in these days.  The county council is getting from bad to worse closing toilets and youth clubs and putting on a poor bus service  I am not sure they are worthy of the council tax they ask for as they are rubbish really.  My water meter was read yesterday too so I will get a bill quite soon it might be a bit more this time as I had kept the water on all night during the cold period I did not want to have my pipes frozen.  Well the water bill was ok really I am really pissed off with the Gwynedd council bill though as all they do is make difficult for people with cutting toilets putting on a poor bus service and now closing youth clubs they are bad news

Well I achieved something last night, which I thought was going to be beyond me, I guess to a lot of people what I achieved, was pretty trivial, but I guess we all see things different;ly, what I achieved was to get over 170 score in a whist drive.  Last night was the first time I had ever done it, had a few scores in the 160's but not in the 170's which I see as the holy grail of scores to get as you will probably win then, which in fact I didn't last night, someone scored more than me, by 1 point.  I was not that bothered about that, all I was concerned about was getting a score above 170, I have been going to whist for years off and on and was never, until last night able to get the magic score, I am surprised I got the score last night as I had a bad headache all evening, I guess it was the luck of the cards that got me through. great war

I went to an exhibition today, which was about the first world war, it mainly seemed to be full of photos of men from my home village who had fallen in the great war, they were all young obviously not ravaged by time.  It was a bit sad to think that so many young men from the place where I grew up were killed, it had their names and the names of where they lived, the names of houses and streets are the same today Sometimes you feel the outside world does not affect what happens here, but I guess it must do as it dragged a load of the young men here into the conflict which was going on at that time, I am not sure I agree with them going to fight, but that is neither here nor there, the fact is they did and that was what was going on at that time. My grandfather was in the first world war, but he was lucky enough to survive, even though he did leave his calf muscle over there in wherever he was, it must have been hell for him really and I guess I will never know what he saw there, al

I did not go the 4th day of the walk, I could not face another 10 miles of plodding around the countryside, I think this is mainly due to the fact that I have not been walking quite so much in the last year, due to bad weather and things like that.  I did not think I would even finish 2 days but I did 3 in the end, more than anyone else except the person who organised the walk.   Instead of going on the walk i tidied up around the place, and just sat around, and also watched the football this afternoon, it was a crap day.  I did not even go for a short walk, its still perishing out there, I have a short walk on Wednesday, a kind of trail run for group who want to do this short walk, a recky or something they call it. I have at last heard when the new kitchen is being put in, apparently its on the !0th of April, I should have a received a 21 day notice but I didn't, which I guess is typical of the organisation who are doing the work.
