I found this chilli con carne recipie on the net, which could be made ion a mirowave, the first time I made it I really enjoyed it, and it was very easy to do and quick, I then thought would have a go at makng it with turkey instead of beef, and trying to adjust the recipie accordingly by reducing the cooking time.  I reduced the tme by about 2 minutes, well the result was not that great I guess the recipie is for beef not turkey and maybe turkey does not have a chlli recipie, I only gave it a go as i thought it would be healthier, won't bother again.

I am still banging away at tryng to make house music, for ths course I am doing, but not geytting too far it seems to me, I brought a book about making dance music, its quiet good up to a certain point then when it comes to talking about the processing of different drum bits or the bass or the lead as well I tend to switch off, I get lost.  When I first got the book it seemed to have some mistakes in it in relation to music theory, but as far as seeing if it had other mistakes, I was not able to understand all the thngs regarding EQing this and that or compressing this and that and getting the right pitch for ths and that, I guess it shows me how much I don't know and how inexperienced I am and have a long hard road ahead if I am to accomplish gettng a decent track out there, not sure if  will ever complete a house track as I stll have no real understanding or I guess particularly can relate to the type of music I am tryng to create but I will still try I guess.

Well I achieved something last night, which I thought was going to be beyond me, I guess to a lot of people what I achieved, was pretty trivial, but I guess we all see things different;ly, what I achieved was to get over 170 score in a whist drive.  Last night was the first time I had ever done it, had a few scores in the 160's but not in the 170's which I see as the holy grail of scores to get as you will probably win then, which in fact I didn't last night, someone scored more than me, by 1 point.  I was not that bothered about that, all I was concerned about was getting a score above 170, I have been going to whist for years off and on and was never, until last night able to get the magic score, I am surprised I got the score last night as I had a bad headache all evening, I guess it was the luck of the cards that got me through. great war

I went to an exhibition today, which was about the first world war, it mainly seemed to be full of photos of men from my home village who had fallen in the great war, they were all young obviously not ravaged by time.  It was a bit sad to think that so many young men from the place where I grew up were killed, it had their names and the names of where they lived, the names of houses and streets are the same today Sometimes you feel the outside world does not affect what happens here, but I guess it must do as it dragged a load of the young men here into the conflict which was going on at that time, I am not sure I agree with them going to fight, but that is neither here nor there, the fact is they did and that was what was going on at that time. My grandfather was in the first world war, but he was lucky enough to survive, even though he did leave his calf muscle over there in wherever he was, it must have been hell for him really and I guess I will never know what he saw there, al

I did not go the 4th day of the walk, I could not face another 10 miles of plodding around the countryside, I think this is mainly due to the fact that I have not been walking quite so much in the last year, due to bad weather and things like that.  I did not think I would even finish 2 days but I did 3 in the end, more than anyone else except the person who organised the walk.   Instead of going on the walk i tidied up around the place, and just sat around, and also watched the football this afternoon, it was a crap day.  I did not even go for a short walk, its still perishing out there, I have a short walk on Wednesday, a kind of trail run for group who want to do this short walk, a recky or something they call it. I have at last heard when the new kitchen is being put in, apparently its on the !0th of April, I should have a received a 21 day notice but I didn't, which I guess is typical of the organisation who are doing the work.
