parcel

I knew of 2 organised walks today, one was a bit more awkward than the other to get to.  Anyway I went off to the start of one of them, I knew the bloke who was doing the walk, the had told me he would not go before the bus came, which I assumed to be the bus I was on, it turned out I had probably assumed wrong, it probably needed me to tell him, I was going to be on the bus.  I found this out, as when I got to the start of the walk they had gone.  In my quest to find the group, someone came along and informed me that they had seen the group, about half a mile down the road, I proceeded to try to catch them up, now I had never come across this being done, unless the there was mobile phone contact between the 2 people and as it turned out, it was a waste of time on my behalf, while going after the group, I asked someone else if they had seen then, and they hadn't, so I assume they had turned off.  Anyway I carried on walking on this boring railway track, and then got to the town at the end of it and came home eventually.

I came home to find they noisy manhole had been fixed whiich good. I also came home to find that someone had been here with a parcel, and had taken it to the next town as I was not in, I managed to get a lift to next town to get, but it was not the parcel, I thought was, that had arrived, which was a bit confusing as the people had said it was coming today and there as not much left of the working day for it arrive, but as it turned out the parcel had been left with the neighbour but there was no note to say that had it been, she just saw me in the street.  They really should tell people if they are leaving parcels in other people's houses, not put the burden on the neighbour to sort it out.
