Ffair Llan

It seems the issue fo the annual village fair has cropped up again.  Its the same issue as has cropped up before, the council are making a fuss about the fact that the traffic drives through the village, which is has done for years and no one has ever been hit thankfully.  The irony now is that its probably safer now than it has ever been due to the lower speed limit.

Last year they closed the council closed the road completely and the bus service was stoppped so it was a complete mess.  It would be sad if hundreds of years of tradition was ended due to the coucil but it seems as thats how it will go I guess.  There is a meeting tomorrow night in the pub regarding the issue.  I hope people will fight to keep the fair the fight regarding most things has gone from me over the years. 

I have witten a not very nice email to the council about the fact that they will kill the fair with their heavy handedness if they are not careful, I don't know if they will take any notice of it but I have tried, the ffair has been going for centurie apparently, the thing is suppoose to be on tomorrow but it won't  be the pandamic failed to kill it the council might thoiugh if they don't stop being so heavy handed

I wrote the email the other day as I thoguht I would be facing the person who gave me the email address for the council but I won't be  now as he course I have enrolled for has been cancelleed again, the course was being held in the place where the person regarding the email address is working it was not biggie but it did motivate to write the email I am glad I did it might be for nothing probably as they don't care the jobsworths are not interested 

The village is trying to set up something for the date tomorrow they are calling ffair llan but its not the real thing as the council have made sure of that with their  bastard restrictions, how these bastards get away with such heavy handedness is s fucking disgreace there has never been an accident as long as I have lived they are bad news these bastards they make me so fucking angry these  beaurocratic cunts at Gwynedd council/cyngor gwynedd

Well I achieved something last night, which I thought was going to be beyond me, I guess to a lot of people what I achieved, was pretty trivial, but I guess we all see things different;ly, what I achieved was to get over 170 score in a whist drive.  Last night was the first time I had ever done it, had a few scores in the 160's but not in the 170's which I see as the holy grail of scores to get as you will probably win then, which in fact I didn't last night, someone scored more than me, by 1 point.  I was not that bothered about that, all I was concerned about was getting a score above 170, I have been going to whist for years off and on and was never, until last night able to get the magic score, I am surprised I got the score last night as I had a bad headache all evening, I guess it was the luck of the cards that got me through. great war

I went to an exhibition today, which was about the first world war, it mainly seemed to be full of photos of men from my home village who had fallen in the great war, they were all young obviously not ravaged by time.  It was a bit sad to think that so many young men from the place where I grew up were killed, it had their names and the names of where they lived, the names of houses and streets are the same today Sometimes you feel the outside world does not affect what happens here, but I guess it must do as it dragged a load of the young men here into the conflict which was going on at that time, I am not sure I agree with them going to fight, but that is neither here nor there, the fact is they did and that was what was going on at that time. My grandfather was in the first world war, but he was lucky enough to survive, even though he did leave his calf muscle over there in wherever he was, it must have been hell for him really and I guess I will never know what he saw there, al

I did not go the 4th day of the walk, I could not face another 10 miles of plodding around the countryside, I think this is mainly due to the fact that I have not been walking quite so much in the last year, due to bad weather and things like that.  I did not think I would even finish 2 days but I did 3 in the end, more than anyone else except the person who organised the walk.   Instead of going on the walk i tidied up around the place, and just sat around, and also watched the football this afternoon, it was a crap day.  I did not even go for a short walk, its still perishing out there, I have a short walk on Wednesday, a kind of trail run for group who want to do this short walk, a recky or something they call it. I have at last heard when the new kitchen is being put in, apparently its on the !0th of April, I should have a received a 21 day notice but I didn't, which I guess is typical of the organisation who are doing the work.
