Amazon
Its not easy returning a parcel to Amazon it seems. I bought this computer the other week and its not what I want really I need a more powerful one. I had two options in regards to this I could send the one I had back or I could soup it up a computer shop. Anyuway I opted for the sending back option and went through the website and gave them a reason why I wanted to send it back. They said it would be collected on the next buisness day. I said I wanted a return there was an option to get a replacement and I specifically well to the best of my ability tried to make it clear that I did not want a replacement I did find it hard to make this clear on the website.
Anyuway I needed to get a label to put on the package and needed to print this off as I don't have a printer as they are a rip off. I got the label printed in the local library and attached it to the parcel. I was informed in the email I would have someone picking it up the next day, well no one turned up so I rang Amazon and they gave the option of dropping it off this was not that straight forwad as it took me a while to glean from the people who were on the other end of the phone where the drop off point was anyway I managed in the end and this involved changing the label on the front. I dropped off the package yesterday. While looking through the emails today I saw that I was down for a replacement so I rang Amazon and have hopefully cleared that up. They said they would send me an email to confirm but not received it as yet. Today also someone from the pick up company came round when they should have been here on Tuesday really, well I am hoping they came to pick something up and not drop off I think that it is to pick up as it was the royal mail who delivered the original one.
They said I would get refund soon, when that happens I will order another laptop from Amazon as now I am a biit more knowledgble than before. Maybe I am wrong to expect to be able to return the goods when there is nothing wrong but I am not too hot on consumer law
