The other day I got a letter saying that I have an interview for a job, on the 16th of June in Tremadog, I was not expecting to get one really, well I guess if I am going to apply, there is chance I guess, I think I got the interview due to the fact that I put down, that I have a disability, and the council who are giving me the interview, have a policy where if you meet the minimum criteria, you will get an interview, if do have a disability.  When I got the letter originally, I was very pleased but if I am only getting the interview due to their policy, I guess they will have drawn up their ideas of who I am before I get there, I will be assigned the stereotypes, they will have a closed mind to me, well this is what I think anyway, I can't see that I will be treated the same as the other candidates,  unless there is another disabled candidate.  It almost feels like they are just going through the motions. I say that I think that it is the main reason I got the interview, I don't know, so its quite difficult to know how to be.

I applied for this job as I have some experience of doing it, I think, I say I think as I did not read the description properly, and now I don't have a copy of it as I applied on line and don't have a hard copy, and I forgot to save a copy on the computer. I have tried to look at similar on the internet and I think I understand what the job is.  The main problem with getting a job round here is that I don't drive, it did not say that I had to drive, in the job description, but I think they may have forgotten to put it in or just assume that most people do.  I have not done a full time job for a long time, so I did manage to get it it would be a bit of a shock,

I need to get a job due to the cost of living, its too hard to live on beneftis, and don't really want to do that for the rest of my life I guess.  If I got the job I would would not be able to go to Hereford, and therefore get away from from scum, which is a bit of a drawback.

I am still trying to clean up after the builders, I am having problems getting rid of the dust, it seems to be stuck to the carpet and I will need a cleaner or something, but this place does feel better to live in than it did, I had a basement before now I have a kitchen, well for a while anyway, until the elements get to it, the damp etc destroys it and them I'm back to square one, but I hope not.

Well it seems to have finally stopped raining, which it has been doing all day long

messing about wih clocks

Tonight is the night they mess around with the clocks again, so it will be dark earlier, according to the clock tomorrow, which is shame really, as its dark enough as it is at this time of year, they should be turning the clock forward really so that we get more light in the evening, but I guess that would mean it would be dark in the morning, and those who get up early might not like that, but there are street lights these days, these old rules need changing.  Apparently it is something to do with Scotland that they 'need' it lighter in the morning, well I wish they would have got their independence and we could be spared this messing around with the clock.  Apparenlty this messing around is bad for some people's health and it has been reported that some people suffer a heart attack.  Well I guess its going to happen so I might aswell just accept it, at least the weather makes stupid things like this a bit more bareable ,it has not been too badk today and its not going t...

New Year

  Well we had a different new years eve last night, there was power outage, this was the second in few weeks there seems to be a lot on this line as parts of the village rarely get affected, its a nuisance, I call this street power cut street, we should be paying less standing charge, which is extortion anyway. There was a huge roar in the pub when the electric came back and everyone could pay for their drinks the tills could not work obviously.   I did not see the new year in in the pub I came home for that as I had gone out earlier to get warm in the pub  Basically it was shit end to shit year where health issues have made life a bit difficult for me, those issues are still around so they have the potential to make this year just as shit I guess, hopefully that won't happen I seemed to be the oldest in the pub by the time it was time to go home except for  a neighbour who is a few months older than me, anyway it has gone now, I guess and we have move on  ...
