 I have not written on here for a while, but thought I might for a change and to test out the bluetooth keyboard. I got up to an awful day the rain was lashing down but the weather improved as the day went on I was even able to walk from the town home which is three miles and I did not get wet. I went to the foodbank today to help out and I get the impression the plae means different things to different people and who should be being helped. The food in the foodbank is mainly donations so I see as the its people who have nothing really who need it and not people who have a car to take the food away I understand cars are a necessity here but  The foodbank has to be for the very needy as its donation based as i say and it poor people mainly helping poor people I think some associated with the bank since the pandemic think its a payment for listening to advice they are being given but I am just a volunteer so I guess its not my problem I just help out, I should probably move on T...

  I go and see the local football team sometime an they have started to give out a program which basically is crap.  I saw the other teams do a digital one its free and its better so hopefully the local club will start doing one instead. There is a lot about not workers in the news these days it seems to make me feel a bit guilty that I am not working though I live in a place where there is no work and if there is you have to drive to it which I am not able to do due to the fact I my sight is not adequate for that task, its a tough life This morning I looked at desktop publishing options they maybe could use to do an online program there are interesting ones I did not make something to try them out but the google docs slides version looks good and the sway one from microsoft might be good too.  It seems i have another tablet it was suppose to be a replacement but the one I have is a bit fautly but they don't want it back so I have a new one and an ok one I guess. I did not go travelling today instead I did a survey for the RNIB who use the title sight loss as it brings in more money but most people who have a sight issue do not have a loss it was always like that like mine is The survey did come up with ideas how things could be make more accessible to me though it involves compromise on the behalf of others an understanding I guess which I doubt more are willing to undertake but maybe the rnib can make them do these things I doubt it though I guess doing the survey make me think about things and I can more if i like I was not ready to comitte this morning I do not want more rubbish coming through the post though I have nothing else to do these days than answer surverys I guess

 The weather has got a lot cooler recetly I hope the summer has not gone away. I guess at least the weather is dry, its another day of not knowing what to do except do some shopping again and watch the olympics.

I had a swim in the river today this pastime has become popular in the last week or so due to the heatwave we are having at the moment.  This river swimming involves a lot clambering over stones things I have not done since I was child and therefore I have not used those muscles since I was a child in that way and weakness was obvious, I did fall and I have slipped a couple of time which I guess is quite dangerous as I could fall and bang my hea d etc and be lying there for I have no idea for how long and.I guess it could be dangerous as I am on my own It is very nice in the water though a bit cold at the start but you get use to it after a while and I have found a pool I can swim round the buoyancy in a river is not so good as in a swimming pool but the water is cleaner and its more natural I did bang my leg a few times on the stones .  It is July and I guess the swimming in the river will come to and end pretty soon as it will get too cold, the level of the water is pretty l...

  So there is talk of an universal basic income being introduced in Wales though it might be a load of shit as its being introduced by the Labour lot in Wales.  If it did happen it would be good for many disabled people. The benefit system at the moment can be a trap, its not possible to go and try job out as you would have to apply for benefit again it did not work out due the problems that may arise due to the disability, but if there was a basic income to fall back on it would be possible to do this due to knowing you had money coming in if it did not work out. There was a situation when the disability living allowence was first introduced that you had some money coming in and it was guaranteeed but it was not enough to covering living costs so you needed another benetit which pushed you into the trap. If UBI was in place someone with some disabilities could try many jobs to get a good fit.  I guess many people could go and try different jobs and it would change how ce...

  I ventured out today from and went on a different journey, to the one I have been on the last year or so I went to the coast, thinking foolishly that the p andemic would be over there but it was not you could see the effect of the  terrrible   lockddowns  the place was pretty empty, the traffic was bad but there were no people hardly walking round well not as you I  remember the place it was as if it might have been  sunday  afternoon  there  nota  friday  one   I was interesting seeing people drink in the street as opposed to inside the pub.  It was a lot easier to get around though I guess until you w anted to go in anywhere then the signs really messed me about.   I have got into the habit of not carrying money and it caught me out today as I needed change for the loo.  \I  used  the  one in the bookies instead .   It was nice to just get out and do something different and I spoke to one ...
