bus pass

While on a trip to shrewsbury last week I was struggling on the train to find my ticket and the cards in my wallet all fell out somehow I picked them up and thought I had got them all, I found out today I hadn't, the card I use to pay the rent was missing from my wallet when I was going to pay the rent in shop today I have since ordered another one and paid this weeks rent over the phone. I am glad it was the rent one that I lost and not any of the others as it would be a  bit more of hastle to cancel bank cards etc I guess it would have been ok to loose the council tax one too.

When coming home on the bus today someone got on and used their pass and asked if another person could go on the bus with them, the pass allows two to travel for free, the other person was not going with the passholder to their destination though, the driver let them get on, I don't the person using the pass understands the other free pass on their pass is for their assistant or maybe they do and they are blantanty abusisng the system, I don't think this is the case but abuse will only to the pass being taken away as is usually the case with any kind of abuse I am not too sure to imform the pass holder of this butu I am surprised the driver did not ask if the person was their assistant not, it was obviousl they weren't, it was a lot of hastle just to save one pound 35 pence and it amused most on the bus I guess I doubt the person who got the free ride will ask again

There is always talk of the pass bieng taken away but as yet it has not materialised, maybe the pass for over 60s needs means testing, ones who are wealthy should pay the few quid for the ride, we are not all in the same boat here,

I think you need to be older to get pass in some countries Wales is generous with its people have only to be 60, in Scotland you get free train travel too so its a bit arbitory what is gong on, Having a disability I have had bus psss since I was 30 or so
