self service
I am sure AI will do all kinds of jobs in the future and people will lose they livelyhood and there will have to an Universal basic income in place for people to live on I would think.
I went to tesco yesterday and those self service machines are getting more accessible for people there is a large print option for those who can't see, which is handy in the end the shop will be open with machines only and the wages can be taken away and the share holders will make a lot mere money which is not a good thing but it is how its going to be
The customer service experince is not as good with a machine obviously as you can't pass the day with a machine yet or get the weather forecast or go and get a replacement if the stuff is broken but you also don't get the ignorance like you do from some shop assistants who are just rude I guess its swings and roundabouts. Self service tills don't close down though
At the momeent the waiting to be served is nto so long as it is waiting for till person but there is a sense of satisfaction in serving yourself, its being independent I guess which is fun but the not waiting is good too.
Sometimes these self service things do break down and can be frustrating and can make the shop experience longer, if you only need a few things self service is fine but for a big shop they are not much good and that could back fire on the shops who start to use only machines and they will only be use for small shops
I got my mic stand delivered today it will be handy if there things in the pub that need a bit of sound reinforcement
