Feeling rather tired today I am not too sure if the exerttions of last week of walk round the eisteddfod field for two days. I really enjoyed the eisteddfod though its a good day out so many interesting things going on I will have to wait a while to go again as it moves around a lot and I will not be able to go unless its within the range of public transport.
The second day I went the field was really muddy though it was a bit depressing really the rain it fell all day long.  I did get to see the band which I was intending to see though the trails of cato they did not stay too long though which was a bit sad but I guess doing that high energy folk can take it out of you.

 I am sure going to the eisteddfod inspired me to write a song which I wrote yesterday though its an english song I guess seeing all that creativity got me in the mood to write something its not finished really but  the main bits are done it just needs bringing together its just a bog standard love song really nothing new about it I suppose.

 I have been doing some voluntary work in the local foodbank for while now these days there seems to be a bit of squabbling about who is genuine and who is swinging the lead and the chatter about it is getting boring I might just leave and find something else to do

I keep uming and arring about going to find a job its not easy round here though due to poor public transport and the limited opportunties available here I will just look around I need to find something to do on a regular basis not just an hour a week like I do at the food bank..

 I think I will need to go colwyn bay tomorrow or somewhere anyway if I am going to get this microphone to work which I am suppose to be testing out. I wil need to go and get that mobile phone at some point too.

Well I achieved something last night, which I thought was going to be beyond me, I guess to a lot of people what I achieved, was pretty trivial, but I guess we all see things different;ly, what I achieved was to get over 170 score in a whist drive.  Last night was the first time I had ever done it, had a few scores in the 160's but not in the 170's which I see as the holy grail of scores to get as you will probably win then, which in fact I didn't last night, someone scored more than me, by 1 point.  I was not that bothered about that, all I was concerned about was getting a score above 170, I have been going to whist for years off and on and was never, until last night able to get the magic score, I am surprised I got the score last night as I had a bad headache all evening, I guess it was the luck of the cards that got me through. I thought I would never get the score, as I don't see very well, and struggle to make out the cards sometimes which is a bit of a strain,

great war

I went to an exhibition today, which was about the first world war, it mainly seemed to be full of photos of men from my home village who had fallen in the great war, they were all young obviously not ravaged by time.  It was a bit sad to think that so many young men from the place where I grew up were killed, it had their names and the names of where they lived, the names of houses and streets are the same today Sometimes you feel the outside world does not affect what happens here, but I guess it must do as it dragged a load of the young men here into the conflict which was going on at that time, I am not sure I agree with them going to fight, but that is neither here nor there, the fact is they did and that was what was going on at that time. My grandfather was in the first world war, but he was lucky enough to survive, even though he did leave his calf muscle over there in wherever he was, it must have been hell for him really and I guess I will never know what he saw there, al

I did not go the 4th day of the walk, I could not face another 10 miles of plodding around the countryside, I think this is mainly due to the fact that I have not been walking quite so much in the last year, due to bad weather and things like that.  I did not think I would even finish 2 days but I did 3 in the end, more than anyone else except the person who organised the walk.   Instead of going on the walk i tidied up around the place, and just sat around, and also watched the football this afternoon, it was a crap day.  I did not even go for a short walk, its still perishing out there, I have a short walk on Wednesday, a kind of trail run for group who want to do this short walk, a recky or something they call it. I have at last heard when the new kitchen is being put in, apparently its on the !0th of April, I should have a received a 21 day notice but I didn't, which I guess is typical of the organisation who are doing the work.
