Judo

I have been watching judo all morning, from the olympics in London, no British success so far in it, but some interesting bouts, Judo seems to have changed a bit since I was a child doing it,  You had to hold down the person for 30 seconds when I was young apparently its only 15 now and the score of koka seems to have disappeared, which was present when I was younger.  I guess I wish I had carried on with it now, especially seeing it in the olympics, I made some good friends in the club, the problem I had was my father I guess he sort of took over and made us go so we got fed up of it I guess.  I remember some of the names used for throws even though its such a long time ago.

Today is also council tax paying today, which I have done. I also have a dentist appointment, they seem to come round quite quickly these days, I guess time goes by a lot quicker these days.  This is my first day back on blogger,  I thought I would give it a go again with it.

My teeth seemed to fine and I have made an appointment for 6 months time.  I went to Porthmadog after the appointment and it was very busy there, the holiday makers are really here now, but there is no backlog of cars on the cob this year due to the bypass now being open, it is now much easier to get into Porthmadog in the summer, but  think I will avoid Tesco for the next few weeks as it packed in there.  I was able to get a basket there today though, sometimes there are not baskets due to the holiday makers using them to make barbecues, not sure how they do it though.
