walking

Gwynedd council Are the pain in the **** today I heard how they don't clean up their mess and at the size of the road covered in rubbish this is to add to the complaints that I have about them putting on a sham of an election and not letting the fair go ahead last year, and the worry I have about how they might alocate the houses which are being built in the village. I went for a walk with a group a while ago apparetly its two months ago, I did not think it was that long I have signed up for another walk which takes place on thursday. I quitel going for a walk in  a group setting a chance to meet others and have a chat, you can get fed up of your own compnay, the walks Can take you to new places places you haven't been before and if you like it you can go again I tend to walk the  same places all the time which gets boring After a while but I guess it's better than not walking at all I have not been out today for a walk at around here it's important to go out and walk...

sunday service

Image
t   Thanks for sharing all that, David—this has a raw, meandering charm that feels like thumbing through a diary as it happens. I’ve gently polished the spelling and grammar while keeping your tone intact, like smoothing out a well-worn coat rather than replacing it. Here's the tidied-up version: --- Today is a Sunday Service day, and since tomorrow is a bank holiday Monday, that means three Sunday service days this weekend. “Sunday service” means buses only go every two hours instead of every hour. It’s the same route, just cut in half. That’s the only service we’ve got now. There used to be many more bus options, but like everything else, they've been whittled away over the years. I was listening to a podcast last night about how taking things away can sometimes be a positive thing instead of constantly adding. But honestly, there’s been nothing positive about everything that's been taken away around here over the past 20 years or so. It’s a shame the weather is so grim...

football

The local football team won the league last night their game was cancelled due to ironically the water logged pitch it hasn't rained here for weeks until yesterday it obviously didn't take much to get waterlogged maybe it was the intensity of the rain I don't know well there must be some really big drainage problem going on. The team who is chasing them was also playing last night and instead of putting pressure on bloody now the team that won the league they lost so Blaenau won the league they still have four games to play so I can guess can give some other players a game or they may go for the points total which is a bit pointless. I have been going to the ground for a few years now to watch please now play I say watch I am there that's right don't have the ice sites to be able to see what is going on on the field which is bits frustrating. This team is in a final and there is technology that could help me see the name but the governing party won't accommodat...

Read aloud

The read aloud function regarding PDF files seems to have broken down on edge I can't seem to get it to work at all even though that I have reset the whole PC I have tried it on the old PC and it seems fine there must be some updates that's screwing it up. I have also put a restore point on that old laptop to make sure that I don't lose it I guess if I'd have thought I could have put a restore point on this laptop when it initially worked and then stopped. I guess I can uninstall the whole thing again and start again I suppose and then put a restore point. The problem is mainly with PDF files when it's has to be allowed the web page it's fine I shall have to think about whether to reinstall the whole thing again it's a bit of a hassle but it might get it to work but I have it on the the old PC so it's OKI guess. the read aloud thing He's hunting for eating the local newspaper to me and for reading letters out to me which I may be in PDF

how did they find out?

In the picture is the village hall where people go and vote during the election and that's where they went yesterday to vote in the council by election which I didn't bother going to as I was not very happy about how the thing was set up.  There There was not enough time given for people to show interest in standing in the election even if they had been told there was an election there was a notice on the council website but that's all the community was not informed there was going to be an election and what they should do to apply to take part in the election by and by when I actually had a chat with a town councillor yesterday about the election she asked me who I voted for and I told her that I didn't vote cause I didn't think the election was conducted properly. We started to talk about the people who had put the name forward for the election and she mentioned that she didn't know how her town councillor had found out about the election which I guess states ...

firemen strike of 1977

Image
The first ever national strike undertaken by firefighters, lasted  nine weeks from November 1977 to January 1978 . Police had received a substantial pay rise while firefighters had seen years of falling real wages, creating a low pay industry. Many firefighters had to resort to claiming state benefits.  Last night in the pub I was talking to a friend who I grew up with in the village and specifically talking about the fire was in the street in the 1970s the Athens I can remember waking up and hearing glass breaking and I got out to bed went outside and I could see there was a fire wasn't middle of the night so I could the place was lit up and I went into I walked into the street and I could see the fire shooting across the road you couldn't walk up the street because the fire  flame just covered the whole street it blocked the whole street My mother tried to go into the house to save the person who was in the house but she couldn't she was repelled back by t...

fairstration

The picture. is of the village fair. When it was in its heyday. Why are they trying to stop the fair now? When it's nowhere near as busy as it was then. Very odd. I have read the. Correspondence from the Council. They say they sent the local councillor an email. In me regarding their decision not allowing the fair to go ahead. But when we had a meeting in the local pub, there was no mention of. This email from the councillor. She must have been told about it when she rang up inquiring about the fare. The councillor is being very deceitful here she should have brought the email up in the meeting  in thepub . She no longer lives locally. The council also trying to say that its not a fair so to make ou they are doing us a favour by not letting it go ahead which is not good  From some council brief offf some blogg ei llafar bro I see that last january gwynedd council tried to palm off the fair to the town council who refused it on the grounds on cost, gwynedd council were not that...
